● Maintains schedules for all patients and nurses ● The scheduling coordinator will be responsible for providing clear communication while building and maintaining relationships with employees and patients. ● This position will work closely with the Director of Nursing and Case Managers to ensure the long-term success of our patients ● Participate in on-call which will include taking all after hours and weekend calls from nurses and clients ● Assures that cases are filled within established time frames. ● Provides appropriate notification of schedule to employee, client, supervisor, and others as appropriate. ● Monitors overtime of employees. ● Responds to emergency calls and arranges schedule accordingly ● Assist and follow through with staffing needs as necessary. ● Personally fulfill in-home staffing needs as required or requested on an emergency need. ● The staffing clerk must assure that the required service visits are completed each day/week. ● Perform other duties as assigned. We need someone who has:
High School Diploma or GED, associate degree from an accredited college or university is strongly preferred. LVN/RN desirable.
Two years of phlebotomy experience
One year of apheresis experience including platelet apheresis

Certificate of Phlebotomy strongly preferred
EMT Certification or associate degree in a related field strongly preferred.

Act as coach and mentor to staff to maximize staff's professional development.
Serve as primary liaison with MIS for department hardware and software needs, and development of new, and revisions to existing reports and applications.
Communicate with clients, providing exceptional customer service to ensure all orders are met accurately and in the established time frame. Assist with client notifications of delayed payments.
Monitor equipment and supply inventory to ensure optimal levels are always available.
Ensure all laboratory equipment is maintained according to SOP and manufacturer's guidelines.
Address any issues as required to maintain a safe and clean work area, including walk-in storage equipment.
Prepare data from various reports to determine productivity, KPIs, and goal achievements.

In this role, you will:
Deliver blood components to and return from designated locations.
Perform visual inspections and verify numbering/labeling/appearance of all units selected for delivery to ensure quality control standards are met.
Place returned units on designated observation shelves, notifying supervisor or laboratory personnel of any abnormalities.
Perform the Stoplight computer check on each consignment delivered to ensure the product is within acceptable date ranges and all products from that consignment are in the delivery.
Properly complete all required paperwork documents for consignment and return of blood components to designated locations.
Ensure compliance with acceptability standards as set forth in the Vehicle Safety and Loss Control Policy, Standard Operating Procedures Manual and various other policies, procedures and protocol.
We need someone who has:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Texas Driver's License (TDL) plus acceptable driving record.

Assist in orienting and training other staff members
Maintain adequate knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, pharmaceuticals, and essential laboratory tests
Adhere to policies, procedures and standards within regulatory compliance, budgetary specifications, including time management, productivity, and accuracy of practice; ensures an adequate supply inventory
Maintain all records required by AABB, FDA, FACT and other accrediting agency or vendor standards, including procedure/patient care data forms
Perform equipment daily checks, quality control, validations, and preventive maintenance (regular and scheduling) in the Medical Apheresis area

We need someone who has:
Graduated from an accredited School of Professional Nursing with a current RN license in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years of recent direct patient care nursing experience, preferably in an acute-care setting.
Demonstrated proficiency in vascular access devices (hemodialysis catheters) and care. Proficiency in peripheral intravenous access is required.
Prior RN experience in apheresis and/or acute/chronic dialysis is preferable but not required.
Current unrestricted Texas RN license or current compact RN license. Certified in Basic Life Support or ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Valid Texas Driver's License
Willingness to travel to and work from the Houston Medical Center area and The Woodlands, TX locations.

Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in implementing speech therapy programs for individuals with various speech and language disorders. The role will involve working directly with patients to carry out therapy plans, monitor progress, and assist in administrative tasks. The position is part-time or PRN, meaning work hours will be flexible and based on the needs of the department or patients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide patient care within your scope, following the treatment plan.
Assist in implementing speech therapy plans under SLP supervision.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
Educate patients/clients and caregivers as needed.
Complete visit documentation, including progress and clinical notes, promptly.
Follow infection control and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
Meet continuing education requirements and participate in in-service training.
Ensure compliance with all relevant payor requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate from a school of Speech Language Pathology Assistant with a Bachelors degree (or higher) with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
Current Texas State License as an SLPA
CPR Certification
Recent work experience in Home Health (preferred)
2 years experience as an SLPA in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
Drivers License (required)
Car Insurance & registration (required)
Skills:
Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, exercises, and tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to observe, document, and report patient progress accurately.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and therapy plans.
Strong clinical assessment, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Be highly self motivated and results driven
