This position is hybrid - in office M-W and remote in AZ Th & Fri. This position is not commission based. Position Highlights: The Mortgage Business Analyst will work with the Director of Mortgage Business Operations to maintain and distribute productivity reports to enhance pipeline management and focused on the customer experience. Duties will include but are not limited to collaborating with Loan Officers, Loan Consultants, New Home Advisors and Leadership on training initiatives and best practices, provide a resource to the production team on troubleshooting and pricing scenarios, manage and update the Sales Support email box. Position Responsibilities: Maintain and distribute reports to the production team to enhance pipeline management. Develop and distribute initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience. Maintain processes and procedures to ensure best practices are in place and consistently followed. Work with the Director to deliver uniform communication to sales team. Develop strong working relationships with Tri Pointe Homes' sales and marketing team on lending initiatives to support sales teams. Work on project development with internal and external partners as directed by leadership. Assist in rolling out training for loan officers/consultants. Manage the training program activity and usage. Work with Tri Pointe Homes marketing on flyers and the Tri Pointe Connect website. Ensure the pricing desk is up to date on policy updates and communicate to the sales team. Work with 3rd party vendors, to include Lender Works on any system enhancements and customization. Provide admin support for systems management. Respond timely to Sales Support email in-box inquiries. Assist with special projects as needed. Position Summary: Act as a liaison to appraisers and mortgage staff by ordering/receiving appraisals, communicating with appraisers, and providing clerical services on all FHA and Conventional appraisals to assist in the loan approval process. Responsibilities: • Maintain electronic files and records in an appraisal management system integrated within loan origination software including processing invoices, reviewing incoming appraisal files as needed, monitoring tasks and reports to respond within required service level agreement timeframes, and providing communication to respective parties regarding status or updates • Maintain compliance with applicable policies and guidelines, investor requirements, and Federal and State regulations. • Communicate with Production/Operations staff and appraisers daily on file status as applicable • Serve as a contact person for all questions related to appraisal processes • Generate and monitor appraisal reporting to include but not limited to appraisals not yet ordered, unpaid appraisals for closing dates approaching, appraisals overdue per delivery date, in addition to quality and other production-related appraisal reports • Process all appraisal requests, including ordering appraisals within specified timeline before closing, ordering final inspections as applicable in a timely manner before closing, and ordering appraisal review or other corrections as requested • Communicate with and respond to appraiser questions, assist with uploading documents, and communicating the status of appraisals to management • Upon receipt of the appraisal, submit to underwriting for appraisal review • Update all data entry tasks related to appraisals in Encompass (loan origination system) • Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and appraisers • Assist production and operations management with the reconsideration of value requests, vendor issues, and appraisal delays • Process invoices for vendor payment and closeout file in the system • May initiate and create correspondence or reports • May perform other processing support duties and assist with projects as needed or assigned Job Requirements Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent.
