In the early 1980 our company’s name was changed to Tri-State Business Systems to reflect the changes in the office environment.
Congress authorizes the Corps to construct the reregulation dam envisioned by the MAWRS in the Water Resources Development Act of 1986.
In 1989, the Corps released a draft plan to implement the study’s recommendations.
The “Tri-State Water Wars Litigation” began in 1990, when Alabama sued the Corps to prevent it from finalizing this plan.
Our history started in 1991, as Dave and Kay Hindman began the journey of a lifetime when they quit their jobs and formed World Radio Telecommunications by the Grace of God and His Word.
Like the 1992 agreement, however, each compact allowed metro Atlanta communities to make reasonable increases in withdrawals to meet growing demands.
Within the next 3 years, WRT began serving the tri-state area (OH-WV-PA) and incorporated in the state of Ohio in 1994.
The comprehensive study was never completed, but it led to the ratification of interstate water compacts for each basin in 1997.
WRT then launched a full-service Data Department in 1998 becoming a Dell Reseller and servicing and installing computers, servers, networks, routers/switches, and printers and much more.
In 2007, Dave and Kay acquired a full-service security business and incorporated it into Tri-State Security, also servicing the tri-state area and industrial/commercial/residential customers.
