8. Must reside within 60 minutes' response time from your regular reporting location.
9. Must be willing and able to work extra and irregular hours as the utility needs may require, and willing and able to work under unusual or special working conditions such as storms, extreme temperatures, winds, darkness, etc.
10. Must have sufficient knowledge and skill in the safe use of basic hand tools, power tools, and hot line tools.
11. Must be willing and able to demonstrate the ability to climb steel or wooden structures and work at various heights.

Step 1
We have found that by starting in our warehouse, you will begin to understand our products and vendors. This will entail shipping, receiving, stocking, etc. Time spent in the warehouse- 3-6 months (estimate).
Step 2
You will be working with Sales and Management in learning our system, placing orders, picking orders, low voltage classes and various other functions. Time spent in learning- 3-6 months (estimate).

I. Job Summary
In tandem with a seasoned WM Driver and/or WM Driver Trainer, after receiving their Commercial Driving Permit, the Driver Apprentice will complete the required training to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle providing service to customers in their respective Line of Business (LOB). II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

After obtaining their Commercial Driving Permit, partners with a WM Driver and/or WM Driver Trainer to train on the proper way to operate a commercial refuse / recycling vehicle:
* Operates vehicle in accordance with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.
* Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
* Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service related issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
* Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required by WM or directed by the Operations Manager.
* Works closely with Operations Manager to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
* Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
* Notifies Operations Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards.
* Communicates customer requests to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
* Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
* Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Trainee to join our team at a SES branch. This position is ideal for individuals who are interested in starting a career in sales and want to gain valuable experience in the B2B sales environment. What You'll Do
Learn about the products and services offered by the low voltage distributor, including their features, applications, and benefits.
Assist the sales team in prospecting and lead generation activities, such as researching potential customers and collecting relevant contact information.
Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to understand the sales process, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
Support the Inside Sales Representatives in conducting product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products, pricing, availability, and delivery options.
Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and submit sales quotations, proposals, and bids.
Assist with order processing, including entering orders into the system, coordinating with the operations team, and tracking order status.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and communication logs using CRM software.
Shadow experienced sales representatives during customer calls, meetings, and negotiations to learn effective selling techniques and customer relationship management.
Stay updated with industry trends, product advancements, and competitor activities to contribute to the team's market intelligence.

Back to Front Career Path Example
SES works with over 400 vendors and on any given day we offer over 300,000 different products.
Step 1
We have found that by starting in our warehouse, you will begin to understand our products and vendors. This will entail shipping, receiving, stocking, etc. Time spent in the warehouse- 3-6 months (estimate).
Step 2
You will be working with Sales and Management in learning our system, placing orders, picking orders, low voltage classes and various other functions. Time spent in learning- 3-6 months (estimate).
Step 3
Once we feel you are comfortable with our business model, products, and services, we will pair you with a seasoned Sales Associate who will be your mentor. Time spent with mentor - 3 months.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard software suite(s), such as the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, and the Microsoft Suite of products.
