These tasks could include the following: o Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as needed o dust/clean tops of office furniture, desks and tables o vacuum all carpeting o spot clean soiled areas as needed o clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals o Clean counters, mirrors and fixtures o Sweep and damp mop floor with disinfectant o Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors o Refill all restroom dispensers as needed o Wipe/clean all table tops and chairs o Wipe/clean vending machines and appliances o Clean sink and damp mop tile floors o Sweep and spot mop tile floors · Follows all company policies and procedures · Works safely and within guidelines · Wears uniform at required worksites · Uses floor machines for,vacuuming and carpet cleaning within proper operating guidelines · Performs repetitive work according to set procedures and pace · Attends periodic training and safety meetings when required EDUCATION AND CERTIFICAtions High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-3 years of hands on experience in a similar or related role(s). additional skills: required & preferred ReQUIRED SKILLS: • Interpersonal Skills: Be friendly and pleasant • Mechanical Skills: understand how to work industrial equipment like floor buffers, industrial floor washers, and fix small building problems, like leaky faucets or faulty light switches • Must maintain a neat appearance. A uniform is required at some worksites • Must be able to understand and anticipate the needs of the client • Must be punctual • Understand and read in English; Some positions require the ability to speak, read, and write English PREFERRED SKILLS: · Listening and verbal communication skills. · Knowledge of basic custodial duties and responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Able to read and communicate in English · Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds · Repetitive motion involved on a daily basis may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting · Ability to operate small power tools · Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching into areas not fully air conditioned. · Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time to include climbing/descending stairwells and ladders · Can work independently and in stressful environments · Regular, consistent and predictable attendance · May have responsibility to enter customer facilities that require background screening.
