Linhao Zhang is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at TrialSpark. He oversees our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams, focused on steering company strategy and ensuring operational excellence for all clinical development activities at the company. Before TrialSpark, Linhao worked in Engineering at Oscar Health and Salesforce.

Melissa is TrialSpark’s Chief People Officer, leading the People Operations, Talent and Legal departments at TrialSpark. Her departments focus on building a talented and diverse team, creating an equitable and inclusive environment where every individual is set up to thrive and providing strategic legal guidance to the business. Melissa came to TrialSpark from Birchbox where she spent 8 years designing and building the Global People and Talent function. Prior to that she ran Recruitment at Harvard Business School, supported Consultant Recruitment and Corporate HR at Oliver Wyman - Delta and was an Executive Team Lead in Human Resources at Target.

James Leslie is the Chief Financial Officer at TrialSpark. Prior to joining TrialSpark he spent eleven years as a CFO at PE and VC-backed growth stage companies in the healthcare (Celmatix), insurance (TitleVest) and education (Flatiron School) industries. Prior to becoming a CFO, was an investment banker in the Restructuring and Reorganization Advisory at The Blackstone Group. James earned his BA from Vassar College and MBA from Columbia Business School.

Dr. Corcoran currently serves as the Chief R&D Officer at Axovant. Previously, Dr. Corcoran has overseen successful drug development across multiple therapeutic areas, including neurology and psychiatry, and was previously Chief Medical Officer of Allergan plc and Actavis. Dr. Corcoran was Executive Vice President for Global Medicines Development at Forest Laboratories prior to the acquisition of Forest Laboratories by Actavis. Dr. Corcoran also served as Head of Late Stage Clinical Development for Inflammation and Immunology at Celgene, and as Chief Scientific Officer and head of R&D at Stiefel Laboratories. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in clinical development and regulatory affairs at Amgen, Schering-Plough, and Bayer. He received his MB BCh from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and completed his clinical training in internal medicine and infectious diseases at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Ken Somberg is a Venture Advisor at Israel Biotech Fund. Ken is also the Chief Medical Officer at TrialSpark. Dr. Somberg is a pharmaceutical executive with senior leadership experience in global pharma and contract research organizations.

He is the former CMO of Nevakar and Covance with significant prior experience at Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a global therapeutic area head in both Clinical Research (Transplantation and Immunology) and Regulatory Affairs (infectious Diseases, Transplantation, and Immunology).

Quentin Chu is a President/CFO at TrialSpark and is based in New, York. He has worked as Analyst at GOLDMAN SACHS GROUP INC and Associate at CARLYLE GROUP INC.. Quentin works or has worked as Partner at Crestview Partners. He attended Phillips Exeter Academy between 1991 and 1995, Harvard University between 1995 and 1999, and Harvard Business School between 2003 and 2005.
