In this role, you will provide program support to an Army Aviation Acquisition Product Office in the form of planning, integrating, coordinating and strategic communications across various APM Teams and Functional Branches - Technical, Logistics and Business, as well as with other internal and external agencies. Other requirements include program planning, scheduling, report, preparation, briefings, providing support to management. Additionally, in this role you must interface on a daily basis with military and civilian personnel and other contractor personnel in a team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support leadership to oversee all operations of the Product Office.
Prepare and come up with new strategies to increase the output for the Product Office.
Responsible for updating/implementing policies or core working practices and should provide clear leadership and direction to personnel, as directed by management.
Plays a key administrative role; keep accurate records of important meetings/schedule for the implementation of various Product Office strategies.
Manage office battle rhythm (meetings, agendas, tasking requirements, product development, and administrative documents)
Work with Project Office Headquarters Staff to synchronize and coordinate all Product Office actions.
Work with Project Office Headquarters staff and Product Office leadership to support tasking and directives.
Assimilate information from numerous sources and provide recommendations to leadership.
Issue, review and track taskings for Product Office.
Coordinate technical development with other Project/Product Offices, other government agencies, and contractors to promote information exchange
Develop, write and staff briefings to officials/groups in the Project/Product Office
Assist with daily and weekly reports to higher headquarters (Staff Call notes, significant actions reporting, and other daily/weekly reports as required).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have and be able to maintain a SECRET clearance
Army Acquisition experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Army regulations, acquisition policies and precedents, program goals and objectives, and work processes of the organizations supported, as well as relationships with other programs within Department of the Army.
Program Management experience and extensive knowledge of contract actions and documents to include but not limited to Statements of Work and Integrated Master Schedules
Experience with rotary wing aircraft operations, employment fundamentals, and how the Army runs.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work effectively and well with others.
Skilled in interpersonal and intergovernmental communications.
Plan, organize, and direct the work of teams or task forces to accept recommendations, changes, or conflicts among team members
Above average knowledge of Microsoft Programs, to include, but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
Outstanding analytical skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving skills
Minimum knowledge of Mircosoft Office suite of products and SharePoint. Additionally, preferred knowledge in Project Recon, Windchill and other applicable applications/processes used in Acquisition Management
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma and 25 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline and 10 years of experience
DESIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline and 10 years of experience
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
