1963 – Triangle Tool was founded
Triangle Engineering Corporation was started in 1964 by a group of tool and die makers who had dreams of becoming one of the finest shops in the Indianapolis area to design, manufacture, and market tool and die products.
In 1966, two of the three owners left the organization and started what is now a partnership that has blossomed into one of the premier mid-range precision machine shops in the Indianapolis area.
1968 – Roy Luther joins Triangle Tool’s six man shop
1971 – Triangle Tool & A1 Tool sold to Beatrice Foods
1972 – Sauey family buys Triangle Tool from Beatrice Foods
1973 – Triangle Tool employees vote union in
1975 – Triangle Tool employees vote union out
1977 – The first NC machine is brought in
1987 – Triangle Tool moves to Port Ave location in Milwaukee from Brookfield, WI
1993 – Purchased A-1 Tool from Beatrice Foods.
1999 – Triangle adds first 5-axis machining center
2008 – Triangle Tool adds 3rd high bay which will house their specialty machining business.
2012 – Triangle Tool enters the frac block machining business
2014 – Triangle adds its largest sampling press – a 4400 ton Krauss Maffei

2015 – Triangle Tool grows to 165 employees
In January 2019, Triangle purchased an additional 10,000 sq ft building on the property to increase our manufacturing area to 40,000 square feet.
