Job Overview:
This position is directly responsible to Program Manager - Sports Medicine and indirectly responsible to Supervisor - Athletic Training ( if applicable). Athletic Trainer must demonstrate ability to perform the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, treatment, reconditioning, & immediate care as set forth by Ohio Athletic Training Practice Act, and generally accepted principles of athletic training. AT will also demonstrate proper taping, bracing, strapping, & fitting of athletic equipment. The AT will carry out all prescribed treatments & recommendations by the physician. Individual also evaluates, plans, and administers treatment and care of athletes under the direct supervision of a designated physician. AT will cover assigned games, matches, and contracted events for assigned school and applicable special events under the supervision of designated physician. AT must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development and possess the ability to assess data reflective of athlete's status and interpret the appropriate information. At also works to ensure high standard of quality care to patients and clients, and development of program and growth initiatives. AT will maintain BOC certification and AT licensure in the State in which he or she will be practicing.

Job Summary:
The Scheduler is responsible to coordinate and schedule patient testing and procedures, including interacting with physician offices, other health care providers and staff in departments that provide services to ensure patients are scheduled as soon as possible. This role will enter patient data into the computer system and complete general office work for the department as needed. May serve as receptionist for patients.
Essential Functions:
Prepares, posts, and distributes daily schedules. Reviews and updates schedule daily. Communicates any changes affecting the next day's schedule to appropriate personnel.
Maintains and secures replacement staff for staffing levels that meet required guidelines and communicates staffing needs to off shift supervisor and Director. Reports all issues to leadership.
Reviews and corrects weekly attendance sheets to ensure accurate payroll. May approve/ disapprove PTO and vacation requests according to established nursing guidelines and labor contracts. Tracks and completes attendance actions for supervisor review. Maintains agency information including orientation checklists, reports of usage, and completion verification.
Verifies patient information from physician's offices, as well as equipment needs, special requests, and positioning. Communicates special equipment, instruments, and supply requests to appropriate staff. Verifies all patient names, procedures, surgeons, and times with Registration/Admitting.
Ensures correct orders, diagnosis, and clinical history is collected and entered into computer system.
Provides physician office staff and/or patient with hospital approved instructions regarding test preparation. Answers questions pertaining to testing, scheduling, and testing preparation. Refers patient to specialty area staff instructions, which are outside of the ordinary.
Maintains patient records from the previous day, ensuring all records are accounted for. Maintains surgical logbook as needed. Compiles daily census statistics and distributes reports.
Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorization and pre-certifications. Responsible for prior authorization and registration functions.
Ensures accurate patient identification by consistently verifying two patient identifiers in accordance with hospital policy and patient safety standards.

Operates at a ratio of Intensive Care Coordination (ICC)-1:10 Moderate Care Coordination (MCC)- 1:20. Caseloads can be a mix of ICC and MCC, if warranted. In addition to BHCCS I responsibilities frequently integrates comprehensive and evidence-based strategies into CFT meetings. Demonstrates deeper knowledge of behavioral health management skills.
* Plan of care- Implement/document patient response to individualized care plans which may include completing behavioral assessments. Implement/document patient response to individualized care plans. * Therapeutic Relationships/Communication- In addition to BHCCS I responsibilities, coach and develop new staff, demonstrate enhanced quality in care planning and relationship management with both family, CFT members, and community partners. Ensuring quality information management and documentation, including attendance of team members and their approval of the CFCCP are documented in the youth's EHR. At Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, stand-by Child Life Specialists work throughout the entire medical center to provide essential psychosocial and procedural support to patients and their families when primary CCLS is on leave. PRN/Stand-by Child Life Specialists work a minimum of 160 hours every 8 weeks and may work up to 129 hours/month. The Division of Child Life and Integrative Care utilizes a self-scheduling system for PRN/Stand-by Child Life Specialists to select the shifts they want to work.
This PRN/Stand-by position allows Child Life Specialists the opportunity to learn skills in multiple areas of child life practice including (but not limited to): Emergency Department, inpatient units, Same Day Surgery, and outpatient clinics at multiple campuses.
Qualifications: To be considered, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, and completion of child life internship under the supervision of a certified CLS. Must be certified as a Child Life Specialist within one year of hire. Candidates with past Child Life experience highly desired.

Job Summary:
This position involves skilled professional and technical work involving patient contact and the performance of various neurophysiological tests. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established procedures. Performance requires good judgment and action in specific situations. Performs test on neonate, pediatric and adult patients.
Essential Functions:
· Assist in scheduling, pre-certification, corporate compliance, charge capture, and denial management of procedures. EEG as needed by the department.
· Communicates with NEUROLOGIST with all aspects of testing and references required, as well as medications, if any are required.
· Prepare patients for EEG TEST. Including; obtaining patient history and any contraindications, instructing patient and explain the techniques, applying electrodes, perform EEG testing as needed by department and facility
· Co-ordinate and prepare EEG for interpretation with NEUROLOGIST
· Maintain accurate departmental records and files for EEG.
· Participate and assist in the departmental Performance Improvement Plan.
· Attend departmental and QA meetings as required by management.
· Completes month/year end reports and other related reports when necessary.
· Maintain safety and infection control measures.
· Report sentinel events and/or incident to Manager, Risk Management, Security, and/or Radiation Safety Officer in a timely manner.
· Serve as a preceptor to new employees and/or trainees.
· Maintain clinical competencies and credentialing.
· Perform Visual Evoked Response Study as requested by the Physician.
· Prepare completed study for Doctor interpretation. Perform 24 hour Ambulatory EEG Study as requested by the Physician. Prepare completed study for scanning and Doctor interpretation.
Education:
· Must have High School diploma or GED.
Licensure/Certification:
Applicant must have one of the following:
· Certified EEG technician, meeting CME requirements or ASET requirements
· Associate Degree in Allied Health field or trained by a Certified or Registered EEG technician with 6 months -1yr training or work experience as suggested by the ASET
· College credits in Basic Anatomy/ Physiology and EEG requirements.
· CPR certified
Skills & Abilities:
· EEG technical requirements as stated by the Department Neurologist.
· Demonstrates knowledge of basic EEG patterns and the ability to alert Physician as to high risk situations and respond to emergency situations appropriately.
· Knowledge of Visual Evoked Response Testing and 24 Hour Ambulatory EEG Testing.

Job Responsibilities:
Supervises members during their normal workout and ensuring the safety of each exercise by correcting form, and that each member is using the proper load for each exercise. Uses time to assist with program and goal attainment. Enforces fitness floor policies and procedures with particular attention to letting members work through when doing multiple sets, putting weights away when done, and cleaning equipment after peak times.
Administers certain physical tests to a member upon completion of a consultation and after reviewing any recommendation the member's physician may have for their exercise.
Uses all of the results gathered in the consultation and assessment and providing the member with an exercise program that is designed to allow the member to obtain all goals.
Walks the member through the exercise program that was designed for the member to help them reach their goal and being available to answer questions for exercise progression.
Works on a special project assigned by the Fitness Coordinator.
