Trinity in Washington, a comprehensive university in the nation's capital, invites applications for a faculty position at the assistant professor level in business administration in the College of Arts and Sciences, beginning fall 2025.
Trinity is one of the nation's historic women's colleges, now also a Predominantly Black and Hispanic Serving Institution. Approximately 900 women enroll in the College of Arts & Sciences, Trinity's full-time undergraduate program. This position reports to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

The Business Administration program seeks dynamic teaching professionals having both professional and academic expertise in the areas of general business, management, marketing, entrepreneurship and leadership, with ability to teach introductory and intermediate micro and macroeconomics. Classes in the college are taught mostly in-person, but experience teaching online is also valued.
In addition to teaching and curricular development responsibilities, expectations for this full-time position include active scholarship/research or professional achievements in a specific area of business expertise. In addition, service to the College of Arts and Sciences and University through committee work and other administrative activities will be expected.
Qualifications: This position requires a terminal degree MBA or DBA with specialization in Entrepreneurship, Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of professional experience in business along with teaching at the collegiate level preferred.

Trinity Washington University seeks a dynamic part-time group Water Aerobics Instructor for Trinity's upcoming AM boot camp program. We are looking for an energetic and skilled Water Aerobics Instructor who provides a safe and enjoyable work-out experience. This position will provide water aerobics instruction, monitor group activities, and educate class participants on fitness and safety.
Responsibilities:
Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time; provides adequate warm-up, exercise, stretching, and cool down.
Instructs class participants on effective workout methods; explains proper techniques, demonstrates exercises; identifies different muscle groups, and teaches appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles.
Provide appropriate equipment, music, and handouts for each class.
Assists class participants, when needed by providing a positive and informative exercise experience through attentiveness and addressing questions.
Keeps management informed of pool activities, facility needs, and problems, if they occur.
Ensures that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to at all times.
Greets class participants warmly and enthusiastically while maintaining an atmosphere that is motivational and encourages long-term participation and member retention.
Enforce pool rules and policies at all times.
Show respect and responsibility for all equipment.
Arrive on time, start and end class on time.
Teach agreed upon classes and responsible for obtaining coverage of classes if unable to attend.
Inform the Director of the Trinity Center two weeks in advance as vacation is needed.
Attend mandatory instructor and staff meetings.
Promote all Trinity Center programs to the participants when applicable.
Qualifications:
Have at least two (2) years of experience teaching water aerobics.
Possess a CPR/First Aid/AED certification that is active; maintain current certification through ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NDEITA or equivalent national certification.
Proven ability to swim.
Must be 18 years or older and have a fitness/group exercise background.
Knowledge of, and ability to communicate exercise physiology principles as related to a well-rounded fitness program.
Physically fit to lead classes at the appropriate level.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The work environment is usually hot and humid. Air quality within indoor pools may be reduced due to increased levels of chloramines and ammonia compounds produced from the disinfection of pool water.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Able to project voice over pool noise, to ensure all instructions can be heard.
Instructors are expected to be attired appropriately.

The Department Administrator (DA) assumes substantial independent management of complex operations the Department of Psychology within the College of Arts and Sciences to support the work of the Department through financial administration, HR support, and management of the Department's main office. This position manages the financial operations including budget management, payroll reconciliation, purchasing, and accounts payable matters, along with grant and internal/institutional research support. The DA also creates and submits financial transactions (such as reimbursements and cost transfers) and submits procurement and contract requests to the College of Arts & Sciences Procurement Analyst. The DA will be the primary contact to assist the College of Arts & Sciences Finance Team on regular reconciliation and budget planning activities. Most of the psychology department is externally funded and therefore grant management is a key part of the position. This position oversees the human resources and faculty appointment processes to provide day-to-day support and ensure the continuity of faculty, staff, and students in the department. The DA also supports various personnel activities including recruitment of students and staff, onboarding, annual reviews, policy compliance, and terminations.
The Department Administrator provides administrative support to the Department Chair and faculty within the department. This position may schedule meetings, manage events, and liaise with other units on the department's behalf. For example, the DA coordinates the bimonthly colloquium series and also manages the website. This position creates and enters course schedules for all semesters and maintains records of course offerings. Finally, the DA works closely with graduate student admissions and ongoing enrollment. The position is responsible for maintaining departmental records, conducting analysis and providing reports to the Chair, Dean's Office and others upon request.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Manage all aspects of financial operations for the department including the procurement of supplies and services, purchase orders, contracts, ProCards and expense report creation and submissions, reimbursements, journal entries, and cost transfer requests.
* Work with faculty and departmental support staff on the management of internal/institutional and philanthropically supported research funds (such as start-up and IDC accounts) and JORA on externally funded grants related budget tracking and reimbursements.
* Maintain records for all staff and faculty hires/appointments, term renewals, costing allocations, and terminations in GMS, Box and other databases as needed, completing documentation to maintain accurate records and continuity of all faculty and staff.
* Manage extensive course offerings each semester through CourseLeaf and troubleshoot issues with the Registrar, Graduate School, Dean's Office, and Provost's Office.
* Provide administrative support to the Department Chair and faculty.
Work Interactions
This position reports directly to the Department Chair and maintains an indirect reporting relationship with the Dean's Office designee. The DA may supervise other administrative or student staff within the department. The Department Administrator position interacts with all persons and organizations that conduct business with the department, including faculty, staff, students and guests. The Department Administrator works most closely with the Department Chair to oversee the daily operations and implementation of short and long-term plans. This position will also frequently interact with the Dean's Office, Provost's Office, Registrar, University Information Services, Office of Global Services, Graduate services, JORA, and other partner offices. The Department Administrator maintains professional, cordial, working relationships with all members of the department and all others who visit and conduct business with the department in support of the research, instructional, and service missions of the unit.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of professional work experience - preferably in an academic setting and prior experience with grants management
* Experience in managing administrative operations, leadership and budgetary oversight
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and experience and/or familiarity with managing database queries

The incumbent reports to the Police Sergeant for fulfilling duties assigned, performing patrol functions, and specialized assignments according to all special and general orders in the protection of life and property at Georgetown University. This person works independently with general supervision. The incumbent works with other Police Officers, Communication Officers and Specialists, Security Officers, and Student Guards.
This position is considered as essential under the University Personnel policy guidelines and therefore is subject to be on call when necessary. Managing the administration and financial planning for Linguistics Department sponsored conferences, including specifically the annual international Georgetown University Round Table on Languages and Linguistics (GURT), additional duties include, but are not limited to:
* Act as the management contact to assist the College of Arts & Sciences Finance Team on regular reconciliation and budget planning activities, with some of the Linguistics department being externally funded, and therefore grants management is a key part of the position which includes overseeing and carrying out grants administration where necessary.
* Oversee the human resources and faculty appointment processes to provide day-to-day support and ensure the continuity of faculty, postdoctoral fellows, staff and students in the department.
* Support various personnel activities including recruitment of students and staff, onboarding, annual staff reviews, policy compliance, and terminations.
* Manage HR for all appointments, including hiring paperwork for new adjuncts, postdoctoral scholars, new TL and NTL faculty, and visiting researchers.

The Desk Assistant (DA) is a part-time student staff member of Housing & Residence Life and a member of the University's Division of Student Affairs. The Desk Assistant fulfills a vital role in the residence hall system by helping ensure the safety of the halls, assisting residents with concerns, and welcoming guests and visitors.
The DA is supervised by a Residential Operations Coordinator with the support from the Assistant Director for Residential Operations and Finance and is expected to work closely with other staff members (other DAs, Desk Coordinators, Resident Assistants, Community Directors, Facilities Management staff, etc.) within the building, as well as across campus.
All Desk Assistants must attend and fully participate in staff training in August and January prior to the start of the academic semester.

* This position has "nontraditional" business hours making it likely staff will work evening and early morning hours. Job Overview
The Community Director administers the residential program for a campus community housing between 250-700
students. Duties include supervision and development of the resident assistant staff and design of cultural,
educational and social programming supporting the formation of students in the Jesuit tradition. The Community
Director, in partnership with the Resident Assistant staff, educates students through the development of Educational
Plans, promotion of leadership development, partnerships with Faculty, Chaplains and Jesuits in residence, emergency
response and through community investment in an established code that emphasizes respect for self and others.
The Community Director manages the occupancy, safety and security of the residential area they oversee. The
Community Director is a critical member of Georgetown's Safety Net and works closely with the Georgetown
University Police Department and other Student Affairs offices to respond to student emergencies, including mental
health crises, facility emergencies, injury and other concerns. Community Director serve on an emergency response
duty rotation for all on-campus students and respond nightly to significant student issues.
During summer months, Community Directors play a vital role in supporting the departmental conference operations.
Community Directors are expected to serve as positive ambassadors of the University and Residential Living mission,
vision and values within their teams, communities and across campus.
The Community Director lives in the assigned residential area. Primarily desk work in an office or workspace using a
university issues laptop computer. Some meetings or events in other buildings or off campus. Requires the ability to
be on-call for 24 hours of duty. Must be able to respond quickly to emergencies (behavioral, health related and
physical plant) and other needs when they arise.
Work Interactions
Community Directors supervise the student Resident Assistant team and lead all community development and student
formation initiatives. The Community Director provides mediation services to students, supervision to resident

Community Director schedules student meetings and is readily available to student staff and colleagues. The
Community Director is expected to communicate in a timely manner with faculty, staff, parents, and others regarding
