I am an experienced leader in education, technology, agency, and nonprofit marketing, communications and branding. In the industry and the Austin community, I'm known for my skills and experience in organizational leadership, marketing and communications, brand building, public speaking, teaching, writing, editing, and making interpersonal connections.

As the first-ever CMO at Trinity Episcopal School, I hired and lead the team that builds strategic multi-channel marketing and branding campaigns in support of recruitment, retention, and development efforts to further our mission.

Previously, I served as Director of Marketing Services at St. Edward's University, where I'm an Adjunct Professor teaching Business Communication in the Bill Munday School of Business.

I also practiced marketing and PR as VP of Communications at Capital Area Food Bank and as Community Relations Director for KEYE-TV. Prior to that, I worked in marketing and communications at Dell, SicolaMartin and Austin Chamber of Commerce, and as a freelance writer and editor for several local publications.

My love of learning and leadership attracted me to the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Ethics (MSOLE) program at St. Edward’s University where I studied organizational change, team motivation, and ethical analysis. I earned my MSOLE degree in 2012 and received the MSOLE Outstanding Graduate Award.

With a passion for service and mentorship, I'm a Leadership Austin graduate and past board member, and a founding board member and past president of Young Women's Alliance (YWA), for which I serve on the YWA Advisory Council. I completed the Frank McBee, Jr. Fellowship Program in Civic Entrepreneurship and am a regular guest speaker and advisory board member in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University, where I received my BA in Journalism.

I was honored to be named a “Profiles in Power Central Texas Woman of Influence” by Austin Business Journal and an “Austin Under 40” winner.

My husband Jason and I give our time to Foundation Communities, Austin Sunshine Camps, Riverbend Church, Young Women's Alliance, and other local causes.
