About the job:
In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Nurse Program Specialist oversees and standardizes nursing patient care delivery in nursing departments according to sub-specialty best practices and regulatory guidelines. Works at the direction of nursing leadership and collaboratively with department managers and specialty providers. Functions within standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Organization.
What you will do:
* Quality and Safety: Reviews outcome data at the department level and collaborates with operational leaders to improve patient care delivery.
* Financial Performance: Ensures that decision-making regarding patient care delivery changes improves patient outcomes while enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of operational throughput.
* Patient Experience: Monitors department level patient experience metrics and collaborates with operational leaders to improve patient care; inspires nursing and other interprofessional team members.
* Staff Engagement: Collaborates with operational leaders and enhances the work environment that retains nursing staff and reduces turnover.
* Education and Training: Plans and implements department education/training which promotes professional competence and personal growth and ensures optimal patient care. Functions as a clinical resource throughout colleague onboarding process. Enhances cross-training capabilities to ensure minimum competencies for all RNs in procedural areas while acknowledging intervention-based specialty standards as appropriate.
* Performance Improvement: Monitors nursing quality for designated area, focusing on optimal patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous quality and process improvement program for unit services.
* Communication: Uses/develops effective communication channels to ensure optimal functioning of the unit. Collaborates effectively with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
* Clinical Excellence: Reviews departmental nursing standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols. Maintains awareness of department/service area operations and potential for problems through regular rounds and interaction with physicians and staff.
* Planning: Collaborates with all disciplines on the healthcare team and within the Organization to establish goals and meet objectives. Identifies and develops new educational opportunities in response to patient, physician, organization and/or community needs.
What we are looking for:
* Education: Graduate from School of Nursing; BSN required, Master's Degree preferred
* Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice in the State of Ohio
* Experience: Minimum of two years recent and relevant clinical experience strongly preferred.
* Effective Communication Skills
* Demonstrates ability to assess, develop and mentor a patient care team
* Evidence of effective leadership and management abilities/ within a variety of interprofessional patient care settings
* BLS healthcare provider training required
* ACLS healthcare provider training, if applicable
* Professional certification preferred

Develops and implements marketing plan that creates change in physician and hospital practice in the donor referral and family counseling processes that ultimately increases organ and tissue donation in assigned portfolio.
Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of hospital market to characterize donor potential and identifies and engages decision-making individuals who can influence hospital protocols to include best demonstrated practices for donor referrals and family counseling.
Conducts education needs assessments for assigned hospitals and develops and implements educational plan.4. Establishes multi-disciplinary councils within assigned hospitals, using peer level influence in order to forge a consensus about standards of practice for the donor referral and family counseling and request process. Job Description:
Manages ECMO circuits and equipment during patient care, including circuit interventions and change-outs.
Observes, monitors, assesses, and reports patient status and response to ECMO therapy.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for ECMO patients.
Participates in building and priming disposable ECMO circuits and other related equipment.
Leads ECMO patient transport, both within and between hospitals.

Essential Responsibilities:
RCM Specialists care for the people who care for our patients by performing insurance adjudication, customer service, and patient collection job functions that require superior service and attention to detail.
Bring better care to the front lines by supporting the execution and achievement of functional areas and company goals.
Partners with internal departments to resolve issues related to all tasks and assignments supporting the business.
Point of contact for internal and external customer inquiries, which entails contacting insurance companies and/or addressing patient inquiries.
Uses software and company systems to source, obtain, process, audit and analyze standard data reporting and presenting.
Plans, organizes, and executes tasks and activities with urgency and in accordance with managers' delegated assignments.
Responds to and resolves issues related to claim adjudication, patient and billing inquiries, while seeking managers guidance for non-routine inquiries or escalated concerns.
May be required to meet position related productivity and quality standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education Level: High School diploma or equivalent.
Job related/Industry experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent problem solving/analysis collaboration.
Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
Leadership experience preferred.
Additional Details:
Base Pay Range: $17.00 - 21.00 per hour (Actual pay may vary based on experience, performance, and qualifications.)
This position will be based on-site in our East Syracuse, NY office working a hybrid schedule of 4 days/week and 1 day remote.

What You Will Do:
Preparation and maintenance of program tracking metrics
Utilize SAP to run reports and analyze large volumes of data
Understand and appropriately allocate critical detail parts across repair facilities to facilitate on time delivery metrics and engine centers testing requirements
Prepare status reports as required, present weekly data packages and complete monthly MRO overdue reports
Lead status and operational meetings for internal and external stakeholders
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in engineering
10+ years of experience working within an MRO facility
Strong emphasis on data management, analysis, forecasting, and SAP knowledge.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work within both a shop floor and office environment
Ability to work independently
Pay Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year

Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
