In my experience, The cons working at THGR have not been the best. The patient load is heavy, which has led to burn out. Usually work primary (rarely no PCAs). Too much expectation from leadership to increase patient satisfaction without any resources/staffing. Pay does not equate to the work requirement nor compensation for working short staffed. Pay raises (30%) are based on participation in council/committees/workgroups. RNs do not stay for long.
Some work colleagues are team players and willing to help.
PTO
Never met/seen the CEO.
More diversity. Leadership to set boundaries with friend colleagues, leading to favoritism.
Basic interview questions.
Compensation at THGR is much lower than Corewell health.
Repression of diverse demographics is lacking. The majority of RNs are young white females.
The most fulfilling aspect was making a difference in patients lives.
Great benefits and pay
Management is terrible and you get worked like a dog for the pay. All they care about is money and not patient care like they say they do.
Health and vision insurance
Nothing
Listen to the employees about management and how toxic some leadership can be.
Practice a lot in the mirror.
It’s a little better.
The one I worked with was depending if the manager liked them they would get hired.
How close me and the coworkers got. It was my home away from home.
Competitive salary, great rapport with immediate supervisor and general culture of compassion for others
Headquarters in Michigan sometimes overlooks best interest of satellite locations in other states
Being able to work from home during pandemic
I enjoyed the flexibility of working remotely. The company has a great culture that reflects my own.
There were very few growth opportunities. There seemed to be some favoritism and unfair practices in promotions.
Healthcare benefits were great.
I like assisting users with their technical computer problems
Management. They micromanage, play favorites and always focus on your mistakes. Pay raises are small

Remote
It's a catholic organization but promotes every religion but catholic. No cost of living wages. Management is never around and when there is an issue it's swept under a rug.
