About the role: Under the direction of the Global Finance Leader, the FP&A Manager, Resins will play a critical role in ensuring the financial planning aligns with and supports business objectives by providing actionable insights that drive rigorous and informed decision-making across the Resin business unit with a focus on accountability, quality, timely results, and risk management. The position will collaborate closely with cross-functional and cross-regional teams, providing valuable recommendations to optimize profitability through productivity and sustainable growth initiatives. This position combines rigorous financial planning with hands-on business partnering and a collaborative mindset throughout the business unit to deliver successful business performance outcomes with speed, accuracy, innovation, and proactive problem solving. This will be a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days per week at our Bristol, PA plant and some other office visits depending on group meetings as needed. Responsibilities Develop and manage the end-to-end global business unit's financial planning process for all 3 regions, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and analytics in support of the sales & operations planning cycle. Align the financial plans with the overall strategic initiatives and provide actionable insights. Extensively partner with the business and functional teams to understand internal and external factors impacting sales and profitability, formulate action plans that address gaps and track its achievement, and implement opportunities to grow business performance, while ensuring forecast assumptions are timely populated with completeness and accuracy. Drive the completion of actual and forecast income statements and working capital by region, ensuring data integrity and seamless loading and integration into the reporting system. Drive monthly business reviews with the regional business management teams, delivering insightful explanations for major variances between actual results, budget, and forecast, facilitating better decision-making processes and corrective action plans. Synthesize actual monthly results across various dimensions as such volume, pricing, cost, variable margin, and fixed cost in comprehensive reports, and developing recommendations for improving business performance. Spearhead the preparation and monitoring of business excellence and synergy initiatives, encompassing areas such a new business development, new product innovation, commercial excellence, and business KPI dashboards. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities in concert with the data input and analysis. Lead ad hoc project financial analysis and valuation to support strategic business initiatives and business development opportunities, providing valuable insights for decision making processes Ensure the integrity of historical financials and related profitability analysis by segment and customer, acting as both a steward and creator of value through business and finance strategies. Acting as both a steward of value and a creator of value by aligning business and finance strategy by managing financial performance through management reporting and business analytics. The Millwright / Pipefitter performs the installation, maintenance, service, repair, and rebuilding of all plant equipment, including buildings and grounds. The role will be located in Bristol, PA and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities Effectively troubleshoot mechanical problems in the field. Understand, execute and follow all life critical procedures in the execution of maintenance activities. Repair, install, and service all plant equipment. Perform all tasks necessary as assigned to support plant operations Test all work for proper operation prior to turnover to production. Provide feedback to supervision pertaining to out of calibration instrumentation and any abnormal equipment observations. Maintain a clean, organized shop and clean design practices during day to day work activities. Follow planning and scheduling protocols for the completion and documentation of work order status. Support BBS process by performing observations Support Loss Control policy, ISO 9001 and OSHAS 18001 Management Systems. Will maintain proficiencies in the following areas: General mechanical Piping threading and fitting Rotating equipment rebuilding and alignment (mechanical seals, bearings, and couplings, etc.). Manual mill and lathe safety and operations General troubleshooting. Reading and understanding PIDs, electrical prints and equipment drawings. Dow has an exciting job opportunity as a Sr. Emergency Services and Security Technician (Shift Incident Commander) at BCO- Bristol-Croydon Operations Site. Bristol, PA. In this role, you will share responsibility for the implementation of the emergency services and security (ES&S) management system in order to meet business objectives and to maintain the license to operate. You will provide hands-on emergency services and security activities for a specific plant. You will also be required to have full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. At times, you will act as an informal resource for team members with less experience. Responsibilities / Duties General: Applicants must be organized and have a good communication and interpersonal skills, be articulate and able to interact in a professional manner with others including company management, the community, and public officials. Applicants must have knowledge of computers and be able to use Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel in preparation of reports and other required documents and be able to use electronic mail. This is a twenty-four-hour rotating shift position that requires working in adverse weather conditions. The position requires working during holiday periods and be available for emergency “call back” situations. The individual is required to work independently and/or as a part of a team to perform assigned tasks and address and resolve issue related to assigned duties. Applicant must have general knowledge of industrial safety and related safety rules, procedures, and practices. Facility Protection: Protection of the facility from fire or other hazards likely to cause property loss. Address fire protection impairments and restoration or maintenance, care, and up-keep of fire protection systems to include testing of sprinkler systems and operation of fixed fire pumps. Work also includes conducting periodic inspections and testing of fire protection and safety equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards. The ES&S position is the primary contact for security officers across the entire site and must have the ability to de-escalate security matters and properly communicate with local authorities / Police Agencies. Emergency Response: Actively participates in planning, education, training, and coordination of the facility Emergency Response Team, Dow Distribution Emergency Response, and other corporate community outreach initiatives. Response to situations that may include but are not limited to, investigation of alarms, response to medical emergencies, rescues, hazardous materials, and fire emergencies occurring at the facility and responding to mutual aid and transportation emergency response calls. Initiates reports of incidents and investigations, preparation of training report and records, participates in and conducts required training programs and exercises to improve response capability. Assists in development and maintenance of production unit pre-incident plans for target hazard operations and facility emergency plans. Must be proficient in the National Incident Command System and be able to assume any Position within the system. Serves as a shift Emergency Services Chief or Response Team Leader for response to both on and off-site emergencies. Must have a valid driver's license for the state in which the candidate resides. Must already possess or obtain a Commercial Driver's License within first year of hire Must possess or be able to obtain a US passport and TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) within 6 months of hire. Responsibilities- Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role. + Own the operation and troubleshoot as necessary, the utility systems across Bristol Croydon site. + Work within the maintenance work process to repair and maintain process equipment, specifically including refrigeration systems (HVAC, ARUs, MRUs, Chillers) according to industry and EPA guidelines. + Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions safely and efficiently and helps document failure analysis. + Supports Safe Work Permit activity across utility systems. + Ensures refrigerant recoveries following environmental protection agency (EPA) guidelines. + Collects equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements. + Provides Work Activity Coordinator with all required information from each job performed, including feedback on what was found and done, and hours put in. + Provides Field Planner with all required information to assemble an effective plan on complex jobs. + Coordinate troubleshooting based on priority in plant. Dow has an exciting opportunity available as a Maintenance Planner in Bristol, PA! As a Maintenance Planner, you will create job packages from the work order scope which contains all of the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work. This role also requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. You may act as an informal resource for team members with less experience. Responsibilities / Duties * Uses feedback from the person doing the work to optimize the work plans. * Reviews work orders for technical completeness and returns work orders to gatekeeper, if not complete. * Carries out field checks, when needed. * Prepares job package and inputs plan into SAP (CMMS) indicating the required resources, materials, and services. * Identifies task activities necessary to execute job plan, and identifies materials/tools/equipment required to perform tasks. * Identifies/solicits safety information and requirements necessary to safely perform tasks. * Supports Maintenance Procedure Use Policy by ensuring all job packages include a procedure or the task is on the Procedure Exemption list before the job package is released. Checks that all Maintenance Procedures include a hazard assessment. * Serves as a technical resource during procedure creation and review, as needed. Creates, develops, changes, updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure Management of Change (MOC), as required. Required Qualifications * A High School Diploma or GED equivalent required * A minimum of 3 years of related industry experience * A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the U.S. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including any type of permanent residency support. About you and this role - The Utility Technician will be a member of a shift-based and plant-wide team that consistently manufactures high quality products to meet Dow Coating Material Business objectives in a safe, efficient, cost-effective and environmentally sound manner. Utility Technicians utilize knowledge and experience to safely operate the utility equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make further improvements in plant performance. Persons filling this job are expected to become qualified to operate the utility equipment. In addition, the Utility Technician will be responsible for the safe and efficient repair, preventive and predictive maintenance of all types of equipment, including HVAC & refrigeration equipment, air compressors, etc. This position will work in a Union environment. Responsibilities - Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role. * Own the operation and troubleshoot as necessary, the utility systems across Bristol Croydon site. * Work within the maintenance work process to repair and maintain process equipment, specifically including refrigeration systems (HVAC, ARUs, MRUs, Chillers) according to industry and EPA guidelines. * Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions safely and efficiently and helps document failure analysis. * Supports Safe Work Permit activity across utility systems. * Ensures refrigerant recoveries following environmental protection agency (EPA) guidelines. * Collects equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements. * Provides Work Activity Coordinator with all required information from each job performed, including feedback on what was found and done, and hours put in. * Provides Field Planner with all required information to assemble an effective plan on complex jobs. * Coordinate troubleshooting based on priority in plant. (Could be leveraged to other Units) * Work within operations to effectively communicate equipment status and unplanned events. * Works with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) Coordinator role in defining appropriate spare parts and defining necessary scheduled services for in area of responsibility. * Willing to support off-hours calls and repairs. * Willing to serve on the plant Reliability Team. Required Qualifications * A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent * 3 or more years of experience in an HVAC or similar maintenance role.
