Under John’s leadership, net revenue increased 44% and CRMC was named one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Top 150 Places to Work.” During his 12-year tenure as CEO of St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, Montana, John’s accomplishments include tripling annual net revenue to $157M; achieving an 82% market share while keeping patient charges among the lowest statewide; securing a Moody’s bond upgrade to “A3 positive outlook”; and piloting a $60M master facility plan, with all new construction completed on time and on budget. By implementing a MEDITECH electronic health record, John positioned St. Peter’s to consistently rank among the “top wired” hospitals nationwide and receive the Solucient Award for “Most Wired Hospital-Small and Rural” for four consecutive years.
