Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy. Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment. Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality. Assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment. Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns. Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques.
