C. Todd Sparks has served on our board of directors since 2010.
At the end of 2010, Triumph acquired EJ Financial and its banking subsidiary, Equity Bank.
After a very successful year, Triumph spent the next twelve months of 2011 planning for the future and cleaning up their assets to prepare for the next decade of rapid growth.
Every year since 2012, Triumph has deployed a team of 12 employees to travel to El Salvador with Living Water International to drill a well to serve a remote community that does not have access to clean water.
Nelson joined Triumph in 2013 and serves as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Triumph Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: TBK) and its wholly-owned bank subsidiary, TBK Bank, SSB.
Micheal P. Rafferty has served on our board of directors since July 2014 and serves as chairman of the Audit Committee and also serves as a member of the Risk Management Committee.
Fred Perpall has served on our board of directors since 2016.
2016 brought on even more growth with new acquisitions — ColoEast Bankshares, Inc. and its community banking subsidiary, Colorado East Bank & Trust and Southern Transportation Insurance Agency.
In 2017, our TBK Bank branch footprint grew even bigger with the acquisition of Valley Bank & Trust and 9 branches from Independent Bank.
