This position encompasses a service component and a project component. The service component is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all Triumph factory automation equipment with a focus on scales - this includes weekly cleaning of floor scales and daily recording of trolley weights. Must be able to identify, repair and put back into service all types of industrial technical equipment in a timely manner in accordance to the appropriate procedures. In addition to service responsibilities, the role delivers projects and looks for opportunities to improve reliability and increase efficiency of Factory Automation systems. Successful technicians have the opportunity to develop skillsets required for promotion to Factory Automation Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be able to identify, repair and put back into service all types of industrial technical equipment in a timely manner in accordance with the appropriate procedures. Scales, printers (direct thermal, inkjets, etc.), X-Ray, metal detector, PLCs, hand scanners, cabling, etc.
Be able to calibrate industrial scales and obtain a State of Missouri Scalesman Certification.
Be able to install equipment, read schematics, and use PLC software to troubleshoot problems in the field and in the panel and reload devices.
Have the knowledge of and be capable of supporting powered panels and other related equipment.
Be able to use electrical test equipment to perform these duties in a timely manner.
Be able to work overhead, off a ladder, or scaffolding in high areas.
Must be able to stoop or bend to work below knee level.
Be able to take directions and work without supervision.
Have knowledge of electrical theory in analog, digital circuits, communication, computers, and instrumentation.
Knowledge of all mechanically powered sources hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, etc.

The Payroll Processing Manager must be detail oriented, with an analytical mindset. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g., handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store).
Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre- and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly).
Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g., proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.
