Contribute to the team effort for meeting internal and external customer requirements including on-time shipments. Implement and follow lean manufacturing culture and methodologies by using continuous improvement techniques to help promote positive change in the organization. Responsible for the development of talent under leadership. A Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Engineering specialty plus 84 months experience in leading a manufacturing team is required with 7 years' experience in each of the following: In production and maintenance with continuous improvement; in strategy deployment; in continued process improvement and identify and anticipate customer needs and make sound decisions regarding appropriate action; in coaching, performance feedback and training of subordinate supervision; with preventative maintenance systems; in analyzing reports and implementing plans of corrective action; in executing/ accomplishing plans and directives; in using MS Office and ERP systems (Plex preferred); in Project management skills and in utilizing “MS Project”; in Shop floor control and implementation. Responsibilities Level I • On/Off Bear batteries from production line • Understand and practice the Quality policy • Use hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc. • Work in a lead acid battery manufacturing plant • Capable of working in extreme temperatures and heavy environment is a plus • Strong team skills • Solve problems and recommend solutions • All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site • Lift 50-80 lbs. and stand for long periods of time • Remove caps and perform visual check to ensure that batteries are facing correctly when transmitting through the conveyor • Correctly apply proper vent caps, ensuring a tight seal, and apply labels to batteries Basic Qualifications • High School Diploma or greater • 2-3 years' manufacturing/plant experience with a strong and consistent work history • Basic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructions • Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) • Must be clean shaven if you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!

Areas of Focus Pasting Operator will be committed to perform role safely and wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including a respirator.
