What We Are Looking For The Fuels Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering fuel products safely and efficiently to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safe driving practices. What You Will Do Safely operate fuel delivery trucks, following DOT and company safety guidelines. Deliver fuel products to customer locations as scheduled, ensuring accurate and timely service. Maneuver large delivery trucks safely, often in tight or congested areas, such as residential streets, narrow driveways, or busy commercial lots. Connect and operate fuel hoses, ensuring a secure connection to prevent spills during loading and unloading. Handle fuel delivery equipment, such as meters, nozzles, and gauges, to ensure accurate fuel transfers. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and operational. Load and unload fuel from trucks, following safety protocols to avoid spills or accidents. Accurately complete required paperwork, including delivery tickets, mileage logs, and inspection reports. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding fuel transportation and delivery. Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues or changes in delivery schedules. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain knowledge of fuel types, delivery equipment, and safe handling procedures. Report any vehicle or equipment issues to the maintenance team for timely repairs.
