Compliance: Stay current on and adhere to all DOT and FMCSA regulations applicable to local and regional transportation, including hours of service, weight limits, and vehicle maintenance requirements. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, representing P2D positively when interacting with clients and the public. Qualifications: License & Medical Card: Valid Class A commercial driver's license with a clean driving record and valid medical card. Experience: 24 months of verifiable and proven Class A driving experience in the past 3-5 years as a truck driver, demonstrating a commitment to safety and reliability. No more than 3 moving violations and no more than 1 preventable accident in the past 3 years. It is a plus but not a requirement if you have some experience in the following: use of liftgates, OTR driver, hazmat and tanker endorsement. Knowledge: Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations related to local transportation. As well as hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software for ELD and TMS. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as sit for extended periods during transportation, within Hours-of-Service Regulations.
