The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Class A Linehaul Driver to transport freight between company terminals or customer locations. This is a no-touch freight role, and drivers return home daily. You will play a key role in ensuring timely, efficient deliveries while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities No Touch Freight: Transport freight without handling or loading/unloading. Safety Compliance: Follow all required safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). DOT Compliance: Accurately complete pre- and post-trip inspections, driver logs, and all necessary service reports. Timely Deliveries: Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with dispatch and terminal personnel, reporting any delays, incidents, or route changes. Requirements:Minimum Requirements Experience: 1+ years of Class A driving experience required. Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. License: Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions. Endorsements: Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples (or willingness to obtain within 90 days). Driving Record: Clean driving record is required. Screening: Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screen Compensation Compensation: $30.00 - $31.00 an hour, based on experience and location. Classification: Non-Exempt, subject to all applicable state and federal laws. Work Environment This is a full-time, at-will position with variable hours, typically night shifts. Linehaul drivers benefit from consistent meet-and-turn routes, no-touch freight, and daily home time. Physical Requirements: Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move loads that may weigh up to 50 pounds or more, often multiple times a day. Pushing and Pulling: Capability to push and pull products, sometimes using hand trucks or pallet jacks, often up to 2500 pounds with assistance. Standing and Walking: Frequent standing and walking around the vehicle and in and out of customer locations throughout the day. Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching: Regular bending, kneeling, or crouching for loading, unloading, and securing cargo. Endurance and Stamina: Ability to sit for long hours while driving and work extended shifts, sometimes up to 10-12 hours. Adaptability to Weather Conditions: Ability to work in various weather conditions, and extreme temperatures, as well as adjust driving and loading/unloading practices to ensure safety in these environments.
