JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely load, transport, and unload products at designated customer locations.
Operate a commercial vehicle along established routes to deliver, stock, and stage products.
Set up promotional displays and deliver marketing materials as needed.
Verify shipment accuracy and ensure product is in saleable condition upon delivery.
Address and resolve customer concerns or discrepancies in a professional manner.
Collect empty containers, returns, and unsold merchandise for processing.
Complete daily inventory, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery documentation.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Assist with basic truck maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle activity as required by DOT.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air Brake endorsement.
Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with FMCSA Part 391.41.
Minimum 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Manual transmission experience required (no automatic restrictions).
Prior experience in food/beverage delivery and customer service preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and basic math skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.

We have an immediate opening for a Daytime CDL Class A with X Endorsement and TWIC card in Palm City. The responsibilities of the Class A CDL Route Driver position include:

Utilizes rear steer and grapple trucks to retrieve large piles, bulk, vegetation, construction waste and recyclable materials for dumping. Operates hydraulic and hoisting mechanisms to dispose of loads, taking care to avoid flipping bulk items or spilling contents; secures all doors, gates, and fasteners to prevent spillage or loss of load during transport; transports and delivers load to destinations such as landfill and transfer stations.
Operates all Level I Equipment Operator assigned trucks as needed (rear load, EVO, rear load recycle, and dump trucks to complete division or departmental workload.

* Must complete a written test to evaluate knowledge of Equipment Operator III functions; and
* Must complete equipment specific field test within Solid Waste, residential automated section operating the automated side loader and score an 80%;
* Must possess and maintain a valid State of FloridaClass-B Commercial Driver's License (CDL); and
* Complete the following within ninety (90) days of hire:
* 30-Hour OSHA General Industry Course
* FEMA - IS 552: The Public Works Role in Emergency Management course and successfully pass exam;

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Dump TruckDriver / Operator to support our pipe restoration and maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for hauling excavation debris, aggregate materials, and equipment to and from job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with utility or infrastructure projects, understand the importance of job site coordination, and follow strict safety and environmental standards.
What You'll Do
Safely operate dump trucks to transport soil, gravel, debris, and other materials related to pipe repair, replacement, and maintenance
Assist crews by delivering and removing materials from trenching, pipe laying, and site restoration activities
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues
Maintain communication with site supervisors to coordinate load delivery and material pickup
Work in tight, urban, or residential environments, often near active underground utility lines
Follow environmental regulations for handling and disposing of excavated materials
Ensure truck loads are secure and within legal weight limits
Keep accurate records of loads, deliveries, mileage, and hours of service
Support general labor or equipment duties on site when not driving, as needed
Required Qualifications
Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B as required
Clean driving record with proven dump truck operation experience
3-5 years of experience operating commercial vehicles
Previous experience supporting underground utility, sewer, or water line projects strongly preferred
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles
Understanding of construction site protocols, traffic control, and utility safety standards
Ability to read site maps, follow delivery routes, and communicate effectively with team members
Physically fit and able to work in varied weather and terrain conditions
Ability to work independently while following safety protocols
Willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts, overtime, overnights, and weekends
