Job DescriptionClosed Loop Recycling (CLR) is seeking a hard-working, self-motivated Route Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our production team. CLR is one of the fastest-growing recycling companies. We provide a full service to manufacturers in which we provide them with reusable oil-absorbent material that soaks up leaks and spills in their facilities. Our plants' role is extracting the oily fluid from the material for reuse, laundering the material for reuse, cleaning out 55-gallon collection drums for reuse, and repackaging cleaned material. You'll be working with a small team but have room for advancement in your career here.
This position will require truck training to service clients when needed. Our CSRs remove 55-gallon collection drums filled with saturated oil absorbent mats, PPE, and other items and replace them with new materials. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves driving over the road, lifting, and moving heavy objects frequently, and communicating with our logistics department.
For this position, we offer two distinct pay rates depending on the role being performed. For work in the warehouse, the pay rate is approximately $18 to 20. For truck driving, the pay rate ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience.

Presently we have 19 positions for entry level Class A Regional and OTR drivers. Regional drivers get home weekly and sometimes during their work week. OTR drivers stay out 10-14 days normally.
We even offer several dedicated runs. New drivers must be willing to start OTR if the run you'd like isn't available. This happens often however you won't wait long to get the position you want.
We also have new dedicated runs opening almost daily. We have plenty of positions to choose from.
After you are approved, you will be scheduled for our 1 1/2 day orientation. Once successfully completed, you will go out with a trainer for 4 weeks for OTR training.
During training drivers will stay out for 30 days straight not coming home during that time.
This way we can shape you into a confidant safe successful driver. Upon successful completion you then get moved into your own company truck and a big pay raise. Running dedicated, regional and OTR runs ect.
Why come work for us? We don't keep you in training for long periods of time. We allow you to move up quickly making big paychecks. We offer several divisions. Van, Reefer and Flatbed runs are available.
You get home more often if you'd like. We offer several different home times. Remember though when you first start you must be willing to take what is available until you get the position you want. Most transitions are just a few weeks.
It's hard for us to tell you about a position that is presently available. Remember you won't be done with training for at least 30 days. We can't predict that far into the future. You can be assured though you will be happy. We have one of the best driver retention rates in the industry.
We use excellent maintained trucks that won't have you broken down on the side of the road. New 2022 trucks are rolling in daily.
To qualify as a Class A Driver at entry level you must
Be able to stay away from home for your first 30 days while in training.
Be at least 21 years of age.
No extensive unemployment in the last 5 years.
Must have graduated from a 120 hour training Academy in the last 2 years.
Have a fairly clean MVR no suspensions in the last year.
Be able to pass a thorough background check easily.
Be able to pass all DOT related tests including hair or urine test

Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate a box truck to collect used tires from customer locations.
Work as part of a 2-person team (driver plus route helper) to manually load and stack tires on the truck.
Each tire can weigh up to 50 lbs.; physical stamina and safe lifting techniques are essential.
Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all DOT and company safety standards.
Start routes early in the morning; end times vary based on route completion.
Work overtime, some Saturdays, and occasional holidays as needed.
Provide professional and courteous service at all customer locations.

Requirements:
At least 1 year of box-truck driving experience or equivalent military experience.

Texas Regional Class A drivers needed. No OTR experience required. We need 32 regional Class A drivers. All experience levels accepted. If you have a Class A license we can use you. You'll enjoy $1200-$1400 per week on this dedicated regional run. You'll get home during your work week a few times per week as well as your days off.
You must live along the routes lane within 35 miles of the listed highways. From Dallas Ft Worth south along I 35 to Laredo or DFW to Houston along I 45. We also are taking drivers from aprox Jacksonville TX south to Houston. Then from Houston along I 10 over to Port Arthur.
This route is also taking trainees fresh out of the Academy. No experience no problem but you must have your Class A license in good standing. Trainees must be willing to go out OTR training for 30 days when you first start if no trainers are available on this regional dedicated run.
Trainees start out at $650 per week for the first 30 days then get switched over to experienced driver pay.
* Trainee's must have graduated from at least 120 hour Academy within the last 2 years.
Drivers that haul 2 loads a week are making 1200+. Drivers hauling 3 loads a week are making 1400+ per week.
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass all background checks including all DOT tests including hair or urine.
