Why You'll Love It Here: Company van No weekends First shift Full benefits including medical, dental, vision and pension Key Responsibilities: Safely operate company trucks to transport heavy equipment to and from job sites, facilities, and customer locations Load and unload heavy equipment, securing loads with chains and straps in compliance with DOT safety standards Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, documenting any issues or concerns Conduct light mechanical work, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on heavy equipment when not driving Assist shop technicians with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and service tasks as needed Maintain accurate records for transport and repair activities Provide professional, courteous service during equipment deliveries and customer interactions Adhere to all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety procedures Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL license required Experience transporting and securing heavy equipment with chains and straps Mechanical aptitude with experience in heavy equipment or diesel repair preferred Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and equipment in varied environments Strong knowledge of DOT and load securement regulations Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team Physically capable of handling loading, unloading, and repair tasks About Us: Fraza and Vitan Equipment is a full-service material handling business with over 300 skilled employees across Michigan and New Jersey.
