Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Position requires weekend work and may have varied hours.
Safely drives the mobile unit to and from the designated locations, following pre-arranged schedules and all traffic laws.
Performs daily checks, ensures operational equipment, schedules and coordinates repairs, and maintain fuel and fluid levels.
Ensures the mobile unit is stocked with screening supplies.
Assists with the setup and breakdown of the mobile clinic at each site, which includes loading and unloading equipment and supplies.
Acts as a support team member in the field, assists with patient flow on and off the van.
Completes and delivers requested reports on site metrics to the community van scheduling coordinator.

As a Dump TruckDriver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials to and from construction sites in a timely manner while adhering to DOT regulations. In this position, you will load materials such as asphalt, millings, dirt, aggregates, and construction debris. The ideal candidate has a clean driving and at least two years of relevant experience. Complete mechanical checklist for vehicle at the start of each shift.
Report mechanical problems to Fleet Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Pick up and/or deliver the load on time in a safe and efficient manner.
Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading dock areas.
Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers/tablet, CB radios, and telephones, to maintain contact with Distribution Manager to exchange necessary information, receive instructions, be dispatched to new location, report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Load or unload, or assists in loading and/or unloading truck ranging from 50-100 pounds, utilizing pallet jack or other equipment, and operate/maintain portable pumping units.
Follow all safety regulations, MSDS, and PPE requirements when working around chemicals.
Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
Maintains various required driver logs, time and trip reports, vehicle inspection reports, and expense reports, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Collect delivery instructions from Distribution Manager, verifying instructions and routes. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping document is correct and provides enough information to provide for an on time and safe pick up or delivery.
Need to make sure of weight and proper D.O.T classification on the paperwork to insure load is legal for transport.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations.
Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver chemical products, and other materials.
Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services if required.
Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.
Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
Services truck with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain tractor-trailer.
Completes special projects upon requests, and other duties may be assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required: Must have Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements from the state of residence. Must have TWIC Card or willing to obtain. Must be able to pass all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including physical and drug screen. Must be at least 25 years of age.

Responsibilities
Transport goods and freight from one location to another using a truck or tractor-trailer.
Complete a pre/post-trip inspection on tractors and trailers before and after each trip to ensure safety and functionality.
Inspect loads to ensure cargo is properly loaded and secured.
Notify dispatch if the load is not properly secured and, if necessary, use straps/load locks for securement.
Review Bills of Lading (BOL) for accuracy.
Plan the route, breaks, and deliveries to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
Complete electronic DVIR via ELD for any deficiencies identified during pre/post-trip inspections.
Contact the maintenance team and Penske repair hotline when repairs, inspections, or certifications are needed for tractors or trailers.
Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs with the local lease provider (Penske/Ryder).
Contact safety and dispatch immediately after a safety incident.
Complete monthly Near Miss documentation.
Ensure on-time pick-up and delivery from consignees.
Utilize onboard TMS systems for dispatch and communication purposes.
Comply with all traffic laws and FMCSR regulations, including hours-of-service restrictions.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other transportation personnel.
Monitor weather and road conditions to adjust driving accordingly.
Manage cargo securement and load distribution to prevent damage or accidents.
Complete and submit daily trip sheets.
Submit weekly documentation, including but not limited to daily trip sheets, lumper receipts, and fuel receipts.
Communicate professionally with dispatchers, safety departments, other departments, motorists, shippers, receivers, law enforcement personnel, and DOT officers.
Pull the 5th wheel release, tandem axle releases, and open/close trailer doors in all weather conditions.
Adjust trailer pin height by turning the metal crank mounted on the trailer to move the landing gear upward or downward for proper positioning.
Sit for long periods of time, up to but not exceeding hours-of-service limits.
Adapt quickly to road conditions, environments, traffic patterns, weather conditions, and job demands.
Work weekends as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Load and unload trailers using hand equipment, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
Pick and pack materials for shipping.
Safely operate powered equipment (reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks) after certification at each facility.
Utilize company WMS to manage inventory and trailer loading/unloading.
Travel to company warehouses to provide onsite support for all warehouse functions.
Maintain accurate inventory counts.
Perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
Assist in breaking down empty gaylords and maintaining the baler.
Assist other drivers and material handlers as assigned by leadership.
Avoid using power equipment in a facility until certified at that specific location.
