Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization. Minimum Job Requirements Minimum Education & Experience: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Basic Life Support card required. Six months van transport experience preferred. Required Licenses, Certifications, and/or Documentation: Must maintain acceptable driving record, current class specific driver's license, and insurability. Driving record must meet the standards of the Transportation Policy. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates proficiency using the machines, tools, equipment and/or work aids appropriate for the position. Demonstrates critical thinking skills. Ability to maintain quality, Infection Prevention, and safety standards. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, compassionate and understanding. Physical Requirements Over the Course of a Shift: A significant amount of sitting, driving, and reaching, often for prolonged periods of time. Both gross and precise motor functions. Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs. Possible exposure to bodily fluids. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to hear overhead pages.
