JOB SUMMARY : The Warehouse Spotter is responsible for spotting trailers, processing inbound and outbound orders, performing inventory management practices, verifying and recording material handling transactions, while following all safety and quality procedures and proficiently operating all material handling equipment. The Warehouse Spotter must also possess a great deal of flexibility in their ability to multi-task and maintain a positive, team attitude.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.
Drive the Spotter semi-tractor and spot box trucks, oil loads, and sugar loads, etc.
Unload bulk sugar and oil loads through completion of load.
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Move ingredients/finished materials in and out of racking, using the electronic inventory management system, to achieve proper first expired-first out (FEFO) / product rotation procedures.
Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and tankers, completing the necessary inspection forms and HACCP requirements.
Receive, inspect, sample, tag, and route all incoming materials. Pick, pack, load, and prepare orders for shipping.
Complete paperwork and log information accurately (Bill of Ladings (BOL's), inbound/outbound orders, ProForma's, etc.).
Interact with truck drivers, customers, and other CQC departments.
Perform cleaning activities as needed.
Provide superior customer service.
Cover for other employees while on break/lunch.
Operate forklift and other material handling equipment and drive personal vehicle for work. Designated employees may be approved to operate the CQC van and therefore, must have an acceptable driving record.
Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
Maintain regular attendance at work.
QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
CDL Class A Drivers License Required
Minimum of one year of industrial warehouse experience required, which includes forklift operation, Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience, and shipping and/or receiving experience. Additional experience beyond one year is preferred.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all CDL/DOT regulations and Liberty Tire Recycling guidelines.
Service customers in a timely and safe manner with a focus on great customer service.
Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety. Report any and all deficiencies to your Dispatch Manager.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and industry regulations
Ensure proper handling of equipment and tires in a safe manner to reduce injury and optimize loads. Lacing tires is required which the candidate must be able to lift 25-50 pounds on a routine basis and in some cases 75 pounds + with assistance.
Communicate and work effectively with dispatchers, customers, team members and/or third-party vendors working in the designated area. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents.
Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
Attend monthly Transportation Safety Meetings through Teams.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A
22 years of age with a satisfactory MVR driving record.
Preferred proven experience as a class A CDL driver but willing to train.
Current DOT Physical and Medical Card, knowledge of applicable federal, state, and industry truck driving rules and regulations on public roads and private properties.
Ability to handle long hours and adapt to various weather conditions.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as getting in and out of the truck multiple times throughout your shift, lifting, loading, and staking tires on a regular basis.

While the nature of our business causes frequent schedule fluctuations, our typical driving hours are between 5AM and 5PM. Drivers are expected to have open availability on their scheduled day to work. While we aim to have everyone home by 5PM, we cannot guarantee it as appointments can run late.
You will use a company provided vehicle and be required to pick the vehicle up at our office in Horicon at the start of each shift and return it at the conclusion of your shift.
Some things we'll need from you...
Superb customer service. We typically serve elderly and/or disabled populations. You will greatly impact this person's day and it is our mission to create a wonderful experience for them.
Great attendance and punctuality. Have you ever waited around for someone only to find out they weren't coming? It's quite the disappointing feeling. Do you know anyone on dialysis, chemo or other life sustaining treatments and what they go through if they miss an appointment? Have you ever had to scramble to clean up someone else's mess because they decided not to show up to work? All of these are very real problems that affect our team and our passengers when we aren't doing our part to hire reliable drivers.
Clean caregiver, criminal and driving record. Due to the responsibility of this position, transporting lives in your vehicle, our contracts with the companies we partner with state that we must run thorough background checks on all of our drivers. You must be able to pass this check.
Ability to pass a drug screen. Unfortunately use of CBD oil for anxiety, sleep and other legal reasons cannot be differentiated on the drug screen so this would disqualify you.
Use of your smartphone. Your timekeeping, communication with the office and trip performance will all be done on your smartphone using company apps.
The physical ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift. You will need to walk in and out of hospitals and other facilities to assist your passenger to the vehicle. Sometimes you may need to push them in a wheel-chair or lift their walker into the vehicle.
