Maintains truck maintenance, fluid and fuel levels as needed and assist maintenance with repairs as needed Reports any vehicle mechanical problems on a timely basis to fleet maintenance. Follows written and oral instruction from Dispatch to determine the quantity and location of raw materials or products to be loaded, transported and unloaded each day. Ability to exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading / operation to and from work site Ensures materials or products loaded are the correct quantity and within acceptable specifications. Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner Continuously follow all safety rules and work in safe, efficient manner Completes required paperwork timely and accurately Maintains communication with the Dispatch using Trackit and mobile telephone to advise of questions, problems or issues on a timely basis. Must have a clean and safe driving record. Maintain an active DOT qualification Ability to perform well in a “TEAM” environment Self-motivated, organized and can work without direct supervision.
