Job Description
Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests & work orders while adhering to your assigned route.
Classify, segregate and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment. Conducts lab pack operations. Pack small laboratory containers of chemical waste into larger containers for shipment.
Performs various regulatory Training, compliance and safety tasks including, but not limited to: Pre-trip inspections of vehicle, report all losses, spills, accidents, Leaking Containers, waste diversion and safety violations to supervisor immediately.
Professional contact with all levels of Customers daily in delivering, promoting, and collecting waste containers. Regular contact with many different levels of personnel.
Overnights Required.
Provide services related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal from customer sites.
Process and prepare Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs) for hazardous waste shipment according to state, EPA and DOT regulations.
Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials. Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions and performing general housekeeping.
Adhere to assigned route via electronic routing system with any deviations escalated to Management.
Operates a Hand Truck, Drum Dolly, Pallet Jack & Forklift.
Maintain the basic functionality & cleanliness of assigned company vehicle & equipment.
Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

Valid CDL Class B license

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Outreach Supervisor, the Transportation Driver plays a key role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of program participants. The Transportation Driver also supports the Outreach and Shelter Teams as needed and requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a primary driver for Hospitality House, responding promptly to service calls and executing both regular service routes and special transportation requests as needed.
Ensures the safe and timely transport of program participants; provides assistance to passengers entering and exiting the vehicle as necessary.
Abides by all traffic laws and right-of-way standards, taking precautions to avoid accidents and negative community discourse at all times.
Reports any and all accidents, injuries involving program participants, staff, or community members, and/or vehicle damage as soon as safely possible.
Helps uphold Hospitality House's Good Neighbor Policy and Mutual Respect Code by respectfully engaging with business owners and community members who request support with issues involving individuals experiencing homelessness.
Provides additional agency-wide assistance as assigned by the Outreach Supervisor.
Accurately completes ride tickets, daily logs, and all required data collection forms.
Maintains cleanliness and safety of all vehicles by regularly washing and sanitizing both the interior and exterior.
Coordinates with the Outreach Supervisor and the Facilities and Maintenance team to follow scheduled maintenance and routine vehicle servicing.
Collects and submits all receipts and records related to fuel purchases and vehicle maintenance.

Hiring 14 Class A truck drivers entry level. Now you have your Class A license, but no one will hire you without Over The Road experience. We are willing to give you a start in your new career. We are currently accepting applications from recent CDL school grads or those who have graduated from at least a 120 hour CDL school within the last 2 years. Freight is backing up, more drivers are needed everyday. We will need your certificate of completion that you received after graduation. If not your transcripts from the school
In the beginning when you start training you will go out with a trainer for 30 days straight. No time off during this period. Very much like basic training in the military.
During training you will earn training pay of only $650 per week. After you complete training you'll come home and take 2-5 days off for home time to wind down. Then you'll sit down with your driver manager and choose one of many openings we currently have.
After training you will get your own company truck that is when you salary goes up to $1200-$1400 on average. Some accounts are paying up to $1500 and up per week.
The process;
Put in your indeed application. Once we receive it , we then will reach out to do a short phone interview. Firstly we will pre-qualify you over the phone. If you qualify, you will complete an enrollment application online.
Next, once you are approved, we will have an admin reach out to you and get you set up for orientation. Orientation will be held at the closest location to your home for one day.
Once orientation is completed, you then go out with your trainer for 30 days straight. The goal is to build your confidence behind the wheel and turn you into a excellent safe Class A Truck Driver.
After training, you will then go right into a dedicated, regional or OTR run, which will give you big paychecks, as well as layover & detention pay. Most drivers average $1200 - $1400 per week
Most all of our equipment is newer & well-maintained. We offer both automatic & 10 speed trucks. We also accept automatic license restrictions.

Class C Driver
Truck driver-over-the-road job in Sacramento, CA
PACE Supply is looking for self-starters to join our team in Sacramento, CA. We need a motivated Class C Driver/Warehouse Worker to strive for excellence and help us maintain our commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service. As a warehouse worker/delivery driver at PACE Supply, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for making deliveries as well as performing general warehouse duties such as picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to lift heavy packages, operate forklifts, and use hand-held scanners. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will interact with customers, suppliers, and team members on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, prepares merchandise for customers by promptly filling and packaging orders for will call or shipping.
Receives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags.
Pulls orders from inventory, manually and/or utilizing forklift.
Prepares materials for delivery to and/or pick up by customers. Packs materials in boxes or on pallets (as appropriate), and labels accordingly.
Checks filled orders prior to delivery or pick up to ensure accuracy and timeliness of order.
Makes notation on invoice for materials pulled for customer pick up and places in file until customer signs it for their materials.
Waits on "Express Will Call Customers" to help ensure fast turnaround in processing their orders.
Assists counter sales when needed by entering orders into the system and pulling and loading orders.
Perform routine inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and assist in periodic physical inventories.
Maintain a tidy and orderly warehouse, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize productivity and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred.
Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required.
Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.

Environmental Conditions:
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
