The Mission Critical Transport Driver will deliver fuel to commercial and government customers while providing exceptional customer service. Foster Fuel Drivers are responsible and required to ensure their equipment is properly maintained and all records and reports required for DOT and Corporate compliance are met. DUTIES Drives Class A or B truck to pick up and deliver fuel products in the local markets. Delivers fuel into a variety of tanks such as vehicles, underground storage tanks, above ground storage tanks, and portable fuel tanks. Conducts pre-trip and post trip inspections of equipment for defects and safe operation conditions before and after trips, when stopped during the workday and submits a daily vehicle inspection report at the end of each day. Assist Campus Security Officers by communicating via handheld radio suspicious or criminal activity on observed on or near campus. May be asked to work at Special events; i.e. athletic games, theatre events, commencements etc., to assist security officers with traffic and crowd control/management while under the direction of security personnel and notifying security of any circumstance needing Campus security consideration.
