The fastest-growing junior college in northern Nevada, Truckee Meadows Community College offers a variety of degree programs that are accessible to students throughout the county and beyond. Truckee Meadows, located in Reno, Nevada, offers associate's degree and certificate programs in more than 50 subject areas and occupational disciplines that encompass everything from veterinary science to computer technology to liberal arts to industrial trades. Students from throughout the county study at Truckee, as the school maintains 40 sites countywide. Truckee Meadows also offers online and television-based classes. Truckee's student services include free tutoring, job placement assistance and support for single parents. Classes are offered at a reduced cost for in-state residents and free for senior citizens.
