Job Description True Value Company , one of the world's largest hardlines wholesalers with more than 4,400 independent retailers in over 60 countries, is looking for Merchandise Handlers for our 2nd shift at our Harvard Distribution Center. We are looking for personally driven and dependable associates who are interested in working with an enthusiastic, fast-paced, customer-focused team. Scheduled Days and Hours: Sunday 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday to Wednesday 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm Thursday 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm Starting Pay Rate: $15.25 plus .50 cents shift differential plus $1.50 for all hours worked on Sundays. This facility has a Step Progression Plan. After 6 months, the hourly rate will increase to $16.00. After 12 months, the hourly rate will increase to $16.50 and to $17.00 after 18 months. Benefits Include: Medical, Prescription Drug Plan, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Vacation and Holidays and Weekly Pay Our Merchandise Handlers are responsible for safely unloading merchandise from trailers, lifting cartons and product, and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Stocking shelves with goods received while accurately maintaining records of goods received or shipped is also part of the job.
