Truett-McConnell College is a private, four-year Baptist university.
Nestled in the small town of Cleveland, Georgia, Truett-McConnell
provides an intimate undergraduate experience. It's located just outside
of the Chattahoochee National Forest, and is about 80 miles north of
Atlanta. As a Baptist college, Truett-McConnell's academics emphasize the
Christian life. The school offers bachelor's degrees and minors in
Christian Studies and World Missions, and many of its other degree
programs are also based in Christianity. For example, the music
department has concentrations for Church Music and Contemporary Worship,
and the History program examines world history through a Christian lens. The college's World Missions Center sponsors mission trips both in the
United States and throughout the world. Recent destinations have included
India, Thailand, Ethiopia, and Amsterdam. The World Missions Center's
purpose is to give students the opportunity to spread the Gospel of
Christ. In 2011, Truett-McConnell completed the Miller Building, a residential
and dining hall that houses nearly 200 students (nearly a third of the
college's enrollment). The building, which is the school's largest
project in 40 years, has been a huge enhancement for student life at
