The Manufacturing Associate will be assigned to operate safely a variety of equipment such as palletizers, wrappers, forklifts and other related equipment within the Plant. (S)he will contribute to the overall department production goals and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Essential Duties:
* Closely monitor the dairy production process
* Perform changeovers as needed per the production schedule.
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties and communicate all issues related to maintaining and operating equipment in a timely manner.
* Clean equipment and perform other routine maintenance as assigned by Maintenance or the Supervisor
* Reassemble equipment after maintenance, clean up, and changeovers
* Operate all equipment following SOPs/training materials and adjust equipment, as needed, to efficiently and effectively operate the production line with minimal down time.
* Follow Quality Assurance standards and collect required samples, as needed, for Quality Assurance testing
* Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information.
* Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance of Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* High school Diploma or GED preferred
* Experience working in manufacturing plant a plus but not required
* Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
* Fluency in English; ability to communicate when necessary to complete duties, read and write
* Ability to work in a cold and wet environment for prolonged periods of time.
* Ability to work in various temperature-controlled zones ranging from cold to hot
* Flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
* Must be able to frequently reach up to 31-77 inches.
Physical Demands:
* Regularly stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl
* Ability to reach and handle objects, tools, or controls

Purpose:
This advanced position exists to provide experienced resources to assemble and support the various medical device manufacturing processes. It also provides a supporting role in the way of quality control in combination with advanced assembly, performed in a timely manner to meet quality and productivity goals of the department.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A day in the life of a Manufacturing Associate II includes:
You will use your advanced mechanical assembly skills to integrate circuit boards, wiring harness, units and mechanical assemblies using the appropriate tooling equipment in an FDA regulated facility.
You will use your knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), good manufacturing practices (GMP), traceability and material review board (MRB) while working independently with little direction to perform automated testing and other requirements.
You will professionally interact with the lead, the supervisor, engineers and coworkers to enhance teamwork and to foster positive working relationships. You may also support production or quality control inspections,
You will use your attention to detail and understanding of continuous improvement/lean initiatives to collaborate with them to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
Training:
You will support Group Lead/Process Coordinator with their training needs providing guidance to new trainees and assemblers on complicated aspects of the assembly work. You will guide them on the how to collect data, maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor and special products.
Testing:
You will perform Quality Control measurements and functions and support new product builds and testing them as required.

* High School Diploma/GED;
* At least 1 year experience performing Medical Device assembly or technical assembly experience performing in a solid and consistent level;

The Helmet Production Technician (Seasonal) is responsible for assembling lacrosse helmets according to STX/NOCSAE specifications and quality standards. * Utilizes windows-based software to accurately maintain specific product history and information.

* Repair and maintain a variety of equipment and perform preventative maintenance on distribution center and/or manufacturing equipment
* Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot, analyze and predict upcoming failures
* Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
* Operate metalworking machines such as bench lathes, milling machines, punch presses, and drive presses to fabricate housings, fittings, jogs and fixtures
* Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems
