Emory University's Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery seeks one full-time fellowship trained Endocrine Surgeonat the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join a robust team. The position will have primary duties at Winship at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
The employee will have an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor is anticipated, depending upon the candidate's qualifications. The highly motivated team has long been actively involved in academic, research, and professional endeavors at the national and international levels. Opportunities to teach medical students, residents and fellows, and participate in scholarly activities. Duties will include patient care, resident and fellow teaching, and academic productivity. Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and will have a university appointment.
The position comprises a clinical appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology at a level commensurate with credentials and experience, as well as an academic appointment in the Emory University School of Medicine. The job provides a competitive 12-month salary with excellent benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- Otolaryngology fellowship
- Strong research and publication history, experience in clinical and research mentorship, a national reputation among colleagues within the otolaryngology community, and an interest in a leadership role developing a clinical dysphagia program
- Eligibility for a valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
- A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate

**Description**
The Emory University School of Medicine Department of Urology seeks to hire one full-time fellowship-trained urologist to join the Emory Urology faculty practice in Atlanta, GA. This faculty member will have an appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor in the Emory School of Medicine.
This position will practice at the Atlanta VAMC and Emory University Hospital. The successful candidate will be expected to have expertise enabling them to manage complex urological conditions as well as the ability to perform minimum invasive surgical robotic surgery independently. The ideal candidate will be a clinician scholar who will be expected to compete for federal research funding and collaborate with colleagues to expand research, teaching, and cancer care programs at Emory Urology.
Emory Urology has expanded in recent years to become one of the largest academic urology practice groups in the United States, with 30 faculty supported by 17 Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants, who care for a large internal referral base from within the Emory network as well as across Georgia and neighboring states, providing over 40,000 urology patient encounters annually. **General Qualifications** :
+ Board-certified/eligible urologist who must have completed an ACGME urology residency.

**Description**
The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a qualified, full-time, board certified or board eligible plastic surgeon fellowship trained, to join its faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The applicant should have a strong desire to develop an academic career in plastic surgery. Specifically, the applicant will have expertise in neuroplastics and a current or budding research focus. The salary will be commensurate with experience and training.
Summary of Duties:
Serve as a 1.0 attending plastic and reconstructive surgeon at The Emory Clinic and other sites that may be deemed necessary by the Section Chief over time for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The 1.0 will be split between clinical and research time, dependent on the candidates portfolio. Clinical responsibilities will be dedicated to all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a neuroplastics focus. Research responsibilities include submitting for extramural and intramural funding awards on a regular basis (2-4 proposals annually) and working on creating an infrastructure to support a neuroplastics research program.
1. Participate in Surgery's education programs and teach fellows, residents and students.
2. Participate in night and weekend call coverage.
3. Participate in the education of medical students, residents and fellows and other rotators through the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery service.
4. Participate in committees, present cases in the Divisions case conferences, manage patient workups and procedures according department guidelines, and adopt any tools and/or technologies deemed part of the Division.
General Qualifications:
1. A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
2. A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
3. The minimum qualifications for medical faculty are a doctoral degree from an accredited school, successful completion of an accredited residency program, and Board certification or eligibility, if applicable, in the area of specialization. Completion of a Fellowship, either clinical or research, in an area related to the field of specialization is desirable. Faculty rank will depend on training, experience and professional achievement. Georgia medical licensure, D.E.A. registration, and malpractice insurance coverage must be obtainable. The candidate must be eligible to work in the US.

**Qualifications:** Georgia Medical License, graduation from an American Board of Emergency Medicine-certified residency training program, Emergency Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, hospital privileges at Grady Memorial and Emory Healthcare Hospitals, and an appointment to the Faculty of the Emory University School of Medicine.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide high quality patient care in one or more of the program's affiliated emergency departments
+ May participate in medical staff activity, department QA, or other service at one of the programs affiliated hospitals under the direction of the ED director of that hospital
+ May supervise medical students, house staff, and other trainees or learners
+ Insure that all emergency medical care delivered in the department meets a high standard of quality. The attending physician in the department is ultimately responsible for all care given in the ED during their shift
+ Maintain professional skills and an appropriate fund of knowledge through continuing medical education

**Description**
The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is seeking a fellowship trained Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialist committed to excellent clinical care and a strong interest in teaching and service. The position will hold a rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was organized in 1981. Faculty see patients with a wide range of reproductive endocrine and infertility pathologies. We have a busy ART/ IVF service with an on-site embryologic lab that does intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), Pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT), and oocyte cryopreservation. The Emory Reproductive Center serves as an Oncofertility referral site for patients newly diagnosed with cancer and assist with LGBTQ family building, with services including donor sperm insemination, fertility preservation, and reciprocal IVF. In addition, the clinic serves as a referral site for patients with reproductive endocrinopathies. There is also a wide variety of surgical interventions, including diagnostic and operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and surgery for uterine and vaginal malformation.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
This position will encompass service to the University in areas of patient care, teaching, and research, and committee work appropriate to their professional training and capabilities and their career goals. Faculty members are expected to supervise fellows and mid-level providers assigned to the clinical practice location. Responsibilities include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in the diagnosis and treatment of reproductive endocrinology and infertility patients. Opportunities for research support and leadership are also available for the right candidate.
Faculty Members are also expected to demonstrate outstanding activity in the teaching aspects of the Department. Specifically, this would include:
+ Providing teaching instruction and supervision to fellows, residents and medical students in reproductive surgery and assisted reproductive procedures.
+ Providing lectures to fellows, residents and medical students as requested.
+ Attending Grand Rounds, M&M Conferences, Journal Club, Division meetings and other Departmental activities.
+ Participating in mentorship of medical students, residents and fellows for research and career development.
**Qualifications:**
Qualified candidates must have a terminal degree (MD or DO), successfully completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program, and a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Licensure by the Georgia Composite Medical Board will be required prior to commencement of employment.

The physician will address all patients' needs within the scope of licensing, training and credentialing. They will attend to the medical needs of all patients by performing patient care activities to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Physician and assist in generating adequate practice volume. The Physician will participate in on-call duties and actively participate in meetings and committees. They will practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Must possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.).
