The Mobile Crisis Clinician provides immediate person-centered assistance to referrals from the Compass Disaster Line and community partners. The Mobile Crisis Clinician is responsible for assessing each individual's needs, level of risk, and providing clinically appropriate interventions and referral. The Mobile Crisis Clinician will represent this program with other agencies and partners to ensure needs of individuals served are met. This is a hybrid position requiring regional travel and office-based work. It will require working part of the time from a company location, and part of the time working from a non-company location.
This position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 12a-8a, and will serve the Jefferson County region. Mileage reimbursement provided for travel per company policy.

The Triage Clinician Lead (TCL) is part of the person-centered integrated team providing direct and indirect services to persons who present to the local Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC). The TCL serves as the main assessor for individuals who present to the BHCC who are experiencing a behavioral health or substance use related crisis and will complete the Open Access assessment, when applicable. The TCL will provide oversight on shift to non-clinical staff and take the lead in directing the overall flow and referral processes at the BHCC.
This is a part-time position working Saturday and Sunday, 12-hr shifts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Triage individuals who present at the BHCC by swiftly, but kindly, assess the individual who will, most likely, be experiencing some sort of behavioral health or substance use related crisis
Philosophically understand the purpose of the BHCC is to avoid unnecessary hospitalization and/or law enforcement contact
When clinically appropriate, provide comprehensive assessments using the DMS-5 and complete agency intake documentation
Identify and assess appropriateness/readiness of referrals for all recommended services, both internally and externally
Function as the lead of the multi-disciplinary team and by provide supervision to non-clinical staff on shift at the BHCC
Work collaboratively with team members within the BHCC, Compass and external partners
