This support will be accomplished predominately at CENSECFOR Headquarters site at Little Creek, VA, and at CENSECFOR Detachments at Chesapeake, VA, San Diego, CA, and Pearl Harbor, HI to satisfy the AT training requirements for CENSECFOR. These services shall be provided in support of CENSECFOR programs under the coordination of the CENSECFOR Director of Training (DOT) and CENSECFOR COR. The following position is required for this effort: Position: AT Instructor, Chesapeake Virginia. Instructors are required to: · Maintain high personal standards of technical knowledge · Demonstrate professional competence in delivering training material. · Effectively perform in a military background and possess a familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the U. S. Navy, military rank/grade structure, · Have knowledge of Navy and military terminology, and shipboard/installation environments and configurations. · Have a high-level self-starter with the demonstrated technical experience · Keep current on the respective technologies and programmatic advancements and the Navy Antiterrorism Program. At a minimum, shall possess: · High personal standards of technical knowledge and professional competence in delivering training material. · The ability to perform in a military environment. · Familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the U. S. Navy, military rank/grade structure. · Knowledge of Navy and military terminology, and shipboard/installation environments and configurations. · Knowledge of basic and advance training techniques and of computer technology applications as they apply to instructional delivery. · Instructors are expected to maintain the personal standards of technical and professional levels of competence that are at least equal to that of the Department of the Navy military personnel undergoing training. · The ability to instill morale and motivation of student and instructional personnel shall be maintained at a maximum level to ensure a favorable environment for learning. Basic Qualifications to possess are: · Have attended the Navy Instructor Training Course (NITC) (A-012-0077) (or military service equivalent), or · Academic credentialing (teacher/professor), or Instructor training via an academic institution. · Academic ITC requirements should contain at a minimum, these Learning Objectives: o Effective communication and questioning techniques o Adult learning theory and principles o Instructional Delivery methods o Lesson delivery performance laboratory o Training environment management o Inter-personal skills o Evaluation and Feedback · Have you obtained: College course MILT 5100 · Are you familiar with applicable reference material as listed in the respective Training Course Control Documents (TCCDs) Basic AT Leadership Instructor Requirements: · Do you either possess or are eligible to earn the requisite Course Unique Instructor Training (CUIT) certifications? Duties & Responsibilities Provide classroom and practical individual skills training and boat team training for multiple boat crews conducting patrolling, port-harbor security defense, and high-value unit/asset tactics, techniques, and procedures in a dynamic maritime environment. The instruction will include dynamic, live-fire crew-served weapons training events in both day and night operations. Perform and observe the safe operations of weapons systems, patrol boats, and associated technical equipment. Perform cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of weapon systems. Perform course preparation and maintenance of curricula. Qualification • Graduate of a certified Navy Instructor Training Course with Navy Enlisted Classification codes 9502, 9501, or 9518 with at least one year of documented instructional experience.
