Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
An Oklahoma Council Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) Peace Officer certification, or be a graduate of the Collegiate Officer Program (COP).
A current CLEETReserve Peace Officer certification.
Three-(3) years of law enforcement experience, performing calls for service or street duty (patrol experience) while employed by aCLEETcertified agency.
Must be able to travel and work on various campuses and other locations.
Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver's License which has not been suspended or revoked in the past five years and no more than 3 or more hazardous moving violations in the past three years.

The Zimmerman lab at OUHSC is broadly focused on understanding the function of monocytes and tissue resident macrophages in mouse models of polycystic kidney disease (PKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) using state-of-the-art techniques including single cell RNA sequencing (sc RNAseq) and spatial transcriptomics. Using omics' approaches, we have defined how disease sequalae alters macrophage phenotype in mouse models and developed monocyte/macrophage specific knockout mice to test the functional importance of predicted cytokines in vivo. We have also set our sights on understanding how omics data from human patients cross-references across model systems including mice, rat, and organoids using deep learning approaches.
Responsible for providing bioinformatics support for research projects, constructing and maintaining databases, and writing programs. Assists researchers by collecting data, keeping records, conducting literature and technical research, analyzing data, preparing reports, and working with other bioinformatics support personnel. Assists with experimental design and interpretation of results.
Duties:
Analyzes sequencing and proteomic data by importing, examining, and running statistical analyses and modeling algorithms. Analyzes data from a variety of experiments and platforms. Interprets, draws conclusions, and discusses results with principal investigator.
Develops and maintains relational databases for high throughput data archiving and analysis. Assists with data deposition to public databases.
Provides user training and assistance to researchers for various bioinformatics software analysis packages and users who wish to incorporate this expertise into their own laboratory.

* Designs and develops instructional materials in coordination with the SPRC Communications Team
* Work to ensure that the voices and perspectives of people groups at highest risk for suicide are included in the design, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing improvements of CI. This will primarily be done through collaboration with SPRC advisory councils and contributing partners.
* Collects data on training and technical assistance activities to support SPRC evaluation processes and prepares reports as needed to support process and systems improvements.
* Assists with and monitors technical assistance for leaders of communities and coalitions who are working to prevent suicide.
* Maintains a working knowledge of current suicide prevention research, updates, innovations, and advancements, including upstream suicide prevention developments in reducing risk and promoting protective factors.

In an effort to successfully recruit qualified candidates in this competitive industry, a bachelor's degree in the subject to be taught, with or without industry certifications in CIT/Cyber related disciplines, with or without teaching experience, can be considered. Similarly, applicants with non-IT bachelor degrees but who also have industry certifications in CIT/Cyber, with at least some College teaching experience, may also be considered.
Pay Rate: $700 per credit hour.
Note regarding re-applying: Adjunct announcements are limited to one application per applicant. However, adjunct position announcements are refreshed on the first Friday of each month. Adjunct candidates wishing to update their credentials or request reconsideration may re-apply accordingly.
An unofficial degree conferring transcripts and/or verifiable completion certificates must be received by this office for formal consideration; however, should an offer of employment be extended, official transcripts are required.
All finalists may be subject to a background check and/or drug test.
