Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Perform line and grade work for building layout and control as required.
* Assist in implementation of site safety program as required.
* Ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and applicable safety codes and regulations.
* Assist in maintenance of contract documents and electronic web-based documents for field operations.
* Assist in preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR's).
* Review work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate within accepted tolerances.
* Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
* Assist in preparation of project as-builts.
* Assist in protection and promotion of interests of Turner and in related matters.
* Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be 64,000.00 - 70,000.00 USD annualized.

Qualifications:
* Two years of college education from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction or relevant education
* Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred
* Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team

* Proficient with computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft suite of applications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:
* Develop a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (including Turner's contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes).
* Lead, supervise and develop all Turner engineering staff, including providing input on or completing performance appraisals.
* Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
* Overall responsibility for communication of information amongst all project team members.
* Establish and maintain procedures with the design professionals, consultants, owner and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings, reporting, applications for payment, etc.
* Work with Preconstruction, Estimating and Purchasing in development of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) or initial project budget.

* Conduct thorough construction document reviews and examine all documents for constructability and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC). Bring all concerns to the attention of the appropriate design professional for resolution.
* Participate in preparation of various studies, recommendations for materials and methods, and cost estimates.
* Prepare a detailed contract items list including all significant items required for the construction of the project.
* Develop trade scope of work documents for bid packages, major material and equipment purchases.
* Prepare a procurement schedule for subcontractors, major material and equipment purchases to ensure timely buy-outs and overall compliance with the construction schedule is maintained.
* Responsible for managing financial status of the project including preparation of project status and accuracy of financial reports.
* Schedule, conduct, and document all job meetings, owner-architect and coordination meetings.
* Manage the subcontract change order process including review of subcontractor estimates, negotiate change orders, obtain required owner approvals and preparation of subcontract change orders.
* Manage project close-out, including securing warranties, guarantees, and acceptance of work, subcontract and vendor close, final payment and records retention.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree plus minimum of eight years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Knowledge of accounting principles and cost control procedures. Strong computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of programs. Knowledge of Turner's Project Management and scheduling software desirable. Responsibilities:
Organization, flexibility, extraordinary customer focus and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include:
Providing pre-construction support
Lead the submittal and request for information (RFI) processes for specific definable features of work (DFW), utilizing PMA and other Project Connect programs completely to closure
Evaluate project design and engineering documents, handling their organization and distribution to necessary parties
Perform project-specific tasks in preparation of Pre-Mobilization Kickoff meetings
Compile, contact, and arrange for short-form subcontracts with local entities at the project site
Assist in drafting subcontracts and purchase agreements
Leading all aspects necessary for construction support
Manage the quality assurance and quality control process as delineated in the Project Quality Plan
Coordinate DFW prep meetings, initial inspections, follow-up inspections, and punch list final inspections
Handle mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination drawings, shop, and as-built drawings
Coordinate creation of lift and formwork drawings
Administering closeout processes
Compile turnover documentation for specific DFW and transfer to customer per the project specific quality and TSO plan
Assist Project Engineer and Project Manager with getting contract documents closed out with subcontractors and suppliers
Support the final inspections and punch list process with the customer for specific DFW responsibilities
Other duties as assigned, including:
Participation in project safety audits and championing Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety Program
