Lineage Logistics turret lathe operator job description

Earn up to $18. 70 per hour.

Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a Turret machine while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled
  • Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader
  • Pull all orders in a timely manner
  • Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
  • Report broken pallets to supervisor
  • Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
  • Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with other machinery and material handling equipment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
  • Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs,; weight may be more dependent upon facility
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
  • Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Description 1. Plan new set ups, call up proper program, check setup sheet with turret station board to determine tool placement needs
2. Load tools in tool holders
3. Input program and set material holders in proper positions
4. Run a sample part and check for accuracy
5. Operate machine, loading and unloading parts
6. Check again for accuracy to specifications

Requirements 1. Previous experience setting up all/any parts on any brand of a CNC Turret Milling machine
2. Previous experience with LVD Strippit Turrets a plus
3. Document

5. 2 years legitimate experience setting up a wide variety of parts on any brand of turret

Physical Requirements 1. Able to physically load and operate such a machine
2. Able to stand, kneel, bend, reach, stretch, lift
3. Able to lift up to 50 lbs
