This position will receive daily tasking and prioritization from their site lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for operations and maintenance support of the MQ-4C Triton network and communications systems at a Forward Operating Base (FOB).

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Air Vehicle System Test Engineer - Engineering Field Service Representative** (FSR) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation (T&E) organization.
This position requires 6+ months of training on a Domestic Assignment to **Pax River, MD and Rancho Bernardo, CA.** After training is completed, it is expected that the candidate will be available to deploy to **Japan, Italy, United Arab Emirates, or Guam** for a minimum of **24 months** , based on current business needs. The international location will be selected by Northrop Grumman after training is completed and will be based on timing and available location(s), determined by business needs. What are the work Expectations?
Duties/Responsibilities
Identifies mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.
Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.
Performs routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
Performs further tests, which may include test driving the vehicle, to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by our auto insurance.

Position Overview
The engineering intern will assist with new and ongoing engineering and manufacturing facility special projects and process improvement initiatives. This position will work closely with the Senior Process Engineer.
Work schedule will primarily be normal daytime business hours (7:00 am - 3:30 pm), Monday through Friday with additional hours required as needed. The internship will begin in May and end in August.
