The beauty of a writing degree is how easily it dovetails to so many professional pursuits. It's like a foundation on which you can build just about any career. Maybe not neuroscience, but most writing majors already know that ship has sailed. Of course, cities are always hubs for companies, agencies, and organizations that might have opportunities in communications and writing, but COVID has upended the brick and mortar approach to employment. In my view, this is an opportune time to be a skilled writer hitting the global market.
