SmartStart Education seeks an Algebra/Geometry tutor to work with small groups of high school students 4 days per week Monday through Thursday. Tutor will be expected to work between multiple school sites throughout the week. Each small group consists of 1-4 students. Each group consists of students who have been identified as students who are struggling with fundamental math skills (i.e. fact fluency, number identification, addition, subtraction). Students include all grade levels including 7th through 12th. The high schools are located in Cleveland, OH.
Job Details:
The position begins promptly on October 6, 2025 and ends on April 10, 2026. The schedule will be 8:00 am through 2:30 pm. Peak Potential Therapy has multiple openings for BTs to provide appropriate academic, behavioral and emotional support to clients with disabilities or behaviors. A BT with Peak Potential Therapy is a one-on-one instructor responsible for the day-to-day teaching and implementation of the client's academic and behavior programs. Peak Potential Therapy's programming is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). All RBTs must be trained in these principles and are expected to implement them throughout client sessions.
No training or certification (RBT & CPR) required upon hire, but necessary to start working. All Behavior Technicians (BTs) are required to obtain the RBT certification within 30-days of hire. Assistance is provided for obtaining the RBT certification.
