Qualifications You are qualified to apply if you meet the following requirements: Minimum of an Associate's degree or current enrollment in an accredited college or university program Citizenship or legal Permanent Residency status in the United States (AmeriCorps requirement) Served no more than three previous AmeriCorps service terms (AmeriCorps requirement) At least 18 years of age Competencies As a successful candidate, you possess the following qualifications: Able to travel to your assigned GO partner school at the exact times listed above (transportation not included) Passion for service and a growth mindset Commitment to equity and diversity Belief that all students can succeed Confidence in your ability to lead students to significant academic growth in Math and/or ELA Experience working in team settings- relationship building and communication skills Maturity to work closely with professional peers Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines Ability to respond well to and implement feedback- commitment to lifelong learning Collaborative problem-solving abilities Prior experience working or volunteering with children is a plus GO Teacher Residency The Teacher Residency is a pathway to teaching created for GO tutors.
