Provide classroom coverage for teacher breaks, planning time, and absences. Help with diaper changes, toileting, bathroom routines, handwashing and other hygiene-related tasks. Engage with children in age-appropriate learning and play experiences. Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Assist with meal/snack setup and clean-up. Help with homework, tutoring, or enrichment activities. Follow daily cleaning checklists and uphold health and safety standards. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Attend various staff development training and be a team player. Job Requirements: Prior experience, at least 6 months, working with preschool-aged children (ages 6 wks-12yrs old) in a classroom or afterschool setting. Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. NSC CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass background checks.
