Qualifications: Ability to work IN-PERSON (please do not apply if you cannot; we do not have online opportunities). Ability to commit to at least one year with Tutoring Club (our students depend on it!). The ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, consisting of at least two, 3+ hour shifts per week, but the more the better (Saturdays are awesome, too!). Ability to work SOME of the following: School Year - Monday through Thursday 3:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday 3:00pm to 7:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm; (We begin at 9:00am on weekdays during the summer.). A Bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor's degree). Access to reliable transportation so you arrive on time. 1+ years of previous tutoring experience (previous teaching experience is not required, but is a plus). Ability to multitask and to CONFIDENTLY tutor to three students at the table each hour in varying subjects. Don't worry, we provide fantastic training! A reliable laptop, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets and interactive whiteboards, and the ability to CONFIDENTLY navigate the internet and multiple browser tabs. This will make you a whiz at all our online software and make you even more efficient.
