Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
* Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
* Develops and maintains individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
* Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from Company classroom or to mobile/trailer classroom.
* Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
* Attends and documents conferences/meetings/trainings with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
* Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.
* Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Do

What You'll Do
NPFE seeks tutors to provide individualized intervention to small groups of students in a targeted effort to increase student achievement. Tutors will deliver reading instruction and implement our tutoring curriculum. The tutor must be able to lesson plan, manage a classroom, and deliver instruction. S/he must also be able to monitor data from assessments and create reports.
Job Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in elementary education
Prior experience working with school age children required; classroom experience highly preferred
Duties & Responsibilities
Write and implement lesson plans grounded in reading curriculum
Regularly incorporate constructive feedback into instructional practices and lesson delivery
Use data to monitor student progress and drive instructional choices
Work in teams to plan, problem solve, and support fellow instructional staff
Keep a consistent pulse on intervention data, putting together reports and recommending and implementing course adjustments as needed
