Job DescriptionBenefits: 401(k) Competitive salary Paid time off Training & development Operating Engineer Class A Office Property We are seeking an experienced Operating Engineer to support the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of Class A office properties. This role is responsible for advanced mechanical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems to ensure optimal building performance, tenant comfort, and safety. Key Responsibilities - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAVs, pumps, and controls - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems - Monitor and adjust Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) - Respond to work orders, service requests, and emergency calls - Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors - Maintain logs, reports, and maintenance documentation - Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations - Support energy efficiency and reliability initiatives Qualifications - Experience in commercial or Class A office environments - Strong HVAC knowledge; electrical and plumbing experience required - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals - EPA Refrigerant Certification preferred - Mechanical, HVAC, or Engineer licenses a plus - Valid drivers license required Work Environment Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces.
