With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Starting with global product portfolio strategy, the VP & GM of Global Product will evaluate and influence decisions on new market entry outside the U.S. This involves determining the right mix of products (SKUs) to ensure strong product-market fit and sell-ability in each region. Once a market is prioritized, the role is responsible for ensuring all required product capabilities are built or on the roadmap, including localization and translation, to meet local language and compliance requirements. They will act as the primary liaison between the product organization and global stakeholders, including regional sales leaders, partners, and senior leadership, to ensure seamless product rollouts and market success.
About the Role
Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the global product strategy, identifying and prioritizing key "must-win" markets for Workday's products. They will lead, mentor, and scale a team of product managers and engineers dedicated to global expansion, ensuring the team has the skills and resources needed to succeed.
Product Localization: Oversee the product localization process, ensuring software is not just translated but also culturally and legally compliant for international markets. This includes managing language translation, currency and date formatting, and adapting user interfaces (UX) for regional preferences. A key responsibility is to ensure the product meets the legal and regulatory requirements of different countries, such as data privacy laws and financial reporting standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central hub for global product initiatives. This person will work closely with regional sales leaders to understand market-specific needs. They will also provide regular updates to Workday's senior leadership team on the progress of global expansion, market performance, and key product decisions. Additionally, this role will be involved in the New Offering Launch process.
Operational Execution: Utilize data and market research to make critical trade-off decisions, balancing the needs of a global platform with specific regional requirements. They will be hands-on in the product development lifecycle, ensuring the global strategy is translated into tangible, high-quality product features.
About You
15+ years of experience in product management or a related discipline, with a focus on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Human Capital Management (HCM) software.
7+ years of leadership experience, including managing and mentoring a diverse team of product managers and engineers.
